Decorative Multiple Sizes E - Nest Thermostat Wall Plate - SILVER RECTANGLE (5.5 X 6.5)

Was a little worried that this purchase would end up being a let down based on other reviews but the price was decent so I decided to give it a try. It met my expectations. The plate is thin, but is cut well and hugs the wall nicely. It matches my Nest thermostat well, and goes well with my decor. Despite it being matte-ish, it still attracts finger oil. A simple wipe down makes it nice and sleek looking again. Overall, despite it being a simple thin piece, it does the job well and is crafted well. Satisfied!

I moved to a new house and this is the second of these wall plates I’ve purchased. Even though it isn’t metal, it’s hard to tell the difference unless you touch it. It classes up the joint and looks much better than the plate that comes with the Nest. It’s simple to install and, best of all, is large enough to cover up the marks left by the old thermostat. Would buy a third time.

Sure would have been nice if this company actually took some measurement and made sure it fit.

Very easy to install and much easier than doing repair on the wall.

Was silver front with black backing however had black edges didn't look good on wall plus was not flat so edges sat out from wall.

It looks cheap, the plastic board is only covered in aluminum on the front. The sides/edges are black.I returned the item and was quite surprised to see that the seller charges for the shipment when the item is returned.

First of all, it does not fit for Next to screw on the wall. Secondly, plate is not finger print friendly, even after cleaning,, the marks are very visible.
