Better than a standard rotary tool and dog nail clippers
I have two large dogs and try to keep their nails from getting too long or sharp between the times they get groomed. Of all the devices I've tried so far (**detailed further down), this Peteast nail grinder is my favorite tool for that task.Pros:- Feels good in the hand and seems well built, with decent weight. Doesn't feel "cheap"- Two speeds. Low/High- Quiet motor, even in the higher speed mode- Plenty of power for my dogs' nails, without really bogging down. You can slow down or stop the motor with enough pressure, but if that happens to you with your pet's nails, you may be pushing too hard or doing something else incorrectly.- The diamond grit on the attachment has been working well for me as I trimmed my dogs' nails. It hasn't come off, and should last a while. Having used other diamond grit devices for sharpening tools, I know to use light pressure and let the tool do the work as much as possible. The slightly concave surface helps shape the nail and smooth out any sharp edges- The LED is very helpful for seeing the "quick" of your pet's nail. If you don't know what that means, please look it up, or you will end up hurting your pet. One of my dogs has dark nails, and shining a light through the nail helps me see the quick more easily and be able to avoid it.- No batteries to worry about! Just charge and useCons:- So far, I don't have any cons except the body of the grinder could be a bit more ergonomic - maybe a bit narrower towards the tip to be able to grip it like a pencil for better accuracy. Otherwise, no issues yet**In case you're wondering, I have corded and cordless Dremel rotary tools, two different dog nail clippers, and a curved dog nail file, all of which I have used to trim my dogs' nails at some point. All work fine for that, but have their drawbacks. Nail clippers are fast, but tend to leave sharp corners and sometimes break nail edges, so I need to follow it with the file or dremel. The curved file I have, which I picked up locally from a large pet store, takes forever to file the nails, so I rarely use it. The Dremel rotary tool does a decent job with the right sanding drum, but is loud and heavier than I would like for proper control that close to a dog's foot.

SO amazing.
This grinds nails so easily and quickly. The light on it helps so much. Cleaning it is so easy and the noise is so quiet my dogs just relax. Of course they were hesitant but this is one of the best nail grinders I had.I used clippers for so long that when I switched to this grinder for the first time, it actually is so much better, easier and quicker for trimming nails.I definitely recommend this product for anyone trying this for the first time.

Worked well on my medium sized dog - lightweight and easy to use!
This device fits in the palm comfortably thanks to it’s ergonomic concave design. The constructive side grips paired with the cordless operation allows for easy handling and maneuverability to achieve optimal pedicure results. At only 7.5 ounces and 7 inches high, this pet nail grinder provided sufficient power to trim the nails of my medium sized dog. For comparison, I was using a dremmel tool that was oversized for the job, as well as a similar priced nail grinder from the local pet store that was way underpowered. The solid grinding wheel has a protective sleeve with separate cutouts to assist with small and medium/large pets. If desired, the protective sleeve can also be removed for fast trimming. The device has an LED light that was bright enough to effectively light the nail area and can also be operated separately from the grinding wheel if needed. The led power indicators display different colors for charging and fully charged, and there are separate led’s for the two operating speeds along with a flashing led status indicating low battery voltage/power.The grinder operates very quietly even at high speed in comparison to other nail grinders that I have used - the specifications list 7000 RPM low speed and 8500 RPM high speed. For best results make sure to read the pre-use instructions for getting you pet adjusted to this device before you start. This kit comes with the nail grinder, USB charging cable, spare grinding wheel and storage bag. Make sure to register online for the 24 month hassle-free replacement warranty. The only drawback for me was that it did not come with a power charger, but any decent USB phone charger will work well. In addition, the device needed to be charged when I opened the box.Overall I am very satisfied with this device and the results that I had trimming my medium size pet’s nails. Fully functional and I would recommend this unit to others.

It’s okay
OK don’t get me wrong the product works nice but the only thing is if you use it for more than five minutes it starts to burn the nail so when are we using all my dog I used it and I start smelling burning smell so I use it on myself and it was burning my toenail so be careful because this product can be very harmful to your pet my puppy was giving me a look like it hurts so I’m just writing to let you know just to be careful also they have different speed levels on there so make it make sense which level to use my dog have thick nails so I use the second speed for her nails but I don’t think I will use this product anymore then we go back to the blue print and make this a little bit more better but for the price I’m guessing that is OK because of the price it’s is very cheap

easy and quiet
it has 2 options to use, top or side grinder, I like the side. I used slow and fast speeds. It is not noisy and it grinds FAST. Directions advise you not to use longer than 5 seconds at a time. A couple of times for about 3 seconds is all it takes for each nail. Good product.

Great for home grooming
and the grinder was good only my dog doesn’t like me to do it for him. I actually use the grand and my own nail to get rid of my gel polish.

VERY useful!
I love it! Is not too loud and even though my dog doesn’t like to get her paws touched, it took us a couple days to finally get the results. The key is lots of treats and kisses💕 also I touch my pet with the back of the nail grinder on so she gets used to the vibration before touching her nails.

Awesome customer service.
My newly adopted (large) dog didn't take kindly to clippers, so in desparation I ordered this nail grinder. The first shipment arrived and it appeared to have been previously opened and the carrying pouch was missing. I contacted the seller and got an immediate reply and a promise to send me out an entire replacement which arrived a few days later. Very impressive service.Overall the nail grinder is a success. I got this one because it had a built in light since my dog has black nails and it's very hard to see the quick. I had to spend a few days introducing her to it. Initially I let her sniff it, then turned it on and held it against her paw so that she could get used to the vibrations. Eventually she let me do all her nails in one go (with lots of treats as a distraction). The grinder does a good job is relatively quiet and the LED light is a great feature.
