The first time I actually came across Mary Jelkovsky was a year ago when I noticed that I was struggling to accept myself again after ending a traumatic relationship with my ex. I was feeling down, stuck and didn't have any strength to continue my fight. At that moment I found Mary's Instagram account, she looked very positive and happy, her energy lifted me and I felt hope for the first time in a while. After that, I started to get inspired by her story and journey of self-love she was sharing online. That was when I decided to try 'self-love thingy' (as I used to call it), and I'm glad I did. Then I got to know that Mary wrote a book! That was something I felt I needed and preordered without hesitation. And I do not regret it. The Gift Of Self Love is a beautiful book, that will make you cry many times because you'll realise so much stuff about yourself that you haven't known before. You'll learn to apply her lessons in everyday situations, and will not regret it. It only has been a month since I started working with this book, and I feel its presence in my life, it reminds me to stop being so harsh on myself and like I said - it is really a special gift that I wish I had sooner. Will recommend it to my struggling friends and mom. The best thing about this book is that Mary speaks to a reader like they're her friends and she wants all the best for them. That thought also makes me cry sometimes because it is such a precious feeling - to finally find a soul that understands you.

I preordered The Gift of Self Love as soon as I was able to! I’ve been listening to the Mary’s Cup of Tea podcast for a while and absolutely LOVE it so couldn’t not order Mary’s book. I’ve never really been able to get into the conventional “self help” books and have always found them a bit patronising, but The Gift of Self Love couldn’t be further from that. The way Mary’s written the book feels as if you’re being spoken to by a friend and I love the fact that it’s also a workbook. I’ve just started getting into journaling but usually feel a bit lost with where to start so the exercises and prompts are perfect for people like me just starting out. It’s completely different to any kind of book I’ve read before and I absolutely love it! For the amount of content you get in the book the price is fantastic. I can’t wait to recommend this to my friends, and see how much more I can achieve with this book on my self love journey. Thank you Mary!❤️
