good inflator for the price, but loud and slow
I have bought about four different tire inflators over the years (Viair and Slime among them). This was one of my first purchases of a portable inflator. It works fine, but it is slow to inflate and is very loud. The good thing about this inflator is that it does not blow the fuse in my car when I am using it. The more expensive and heavy duty inflators (Vi-Air and Slime) do blow the fuses in my cars -- a 2006 Ford E-150 van, Dodge Caravan, and Honda Odyssey. For the price, this is a nice portable inflator. It's just kind of loud, and not real fast in inflating. Forget ever using the pressure gauges on any of these portable inflators.

Sticking With a Brand I Know and Trust
Lighter plug on my old unit got caught in the door and cracked so time to buy a new one for emergencies and bike tires/basketballs, etc. Considered the AAA brand but didn't rep well so went back to my standard while wanting an inexpensive, simple compressor (less moving parts so less likely to break). One thing I sort of miss is lack of a built-in pressure gauge tho I would never trust the reading anyway for inflating auto tires and always had a pencil tire pressure gauge handy for accurate readings (even the cheap dollar store variety will work). Like the fact it's at least still engineered and tested in the USA (tho made in China) and has a 1 year limited warranty. Worked well and as expected out of the box so am satisfied with the purchase and am good to go once again. PS - You'll want to retain the box as long as you can to help keep components in the tight fitting storage well so they do not otherwise fall out and end up with a broken lighter plug as mentioned earlier. Happy trails!

very good quality
very good for adjusting tire pressure at home. also used one of these in the past when we wer off grid and a tire ws flat and we use this to inflate the tire enough to get in for service.

Good product but bad design changes from prior similar one
Product works well in most situations. This is my second one and it has changed in a few ways for the worse. The cap that attaches to the air intake on a bike or car tire tends to stick on thereby losing some of the air when you try to remove it. Most frustrating is they made the storage compartment for the hose and 12 volt plug and line smaller making it almost impossible to store both items and attach the storage cover. Unfortunate that they took a good design and marginalized it.

Gets the job done
So far, so good. I've used this a couple of times to top off some motorcycle tires and truck tires. I wasn't in an emergency situation, just in my driveway. It works fine. The pump is loud and it takes a few minutes per tire (depending on how much air and pressure...obviously). I hold the pump when it is on because I'm afraid it would shake itself to death if I placed it on the ground during operation. The power cord is long enough to get to all of the tires on my 2004 Ram Quad Cab from the central 12V DC cigarette lighter outlet. The air hose is maybe 24", which is enough to reach everything for me. It can be a challenge to fit all of the cord and hose into the storage compartment on the side, but it does fit. My dad has had this same pump for 15+ years and it still works. I'm hoping to get the same life out of this one.

They've changed the design - does not include valve for gauge
I had one of these before and I thought it was great, a definite 5 star item. One of the features I loved was the valve that allowed you to take pressure readings without having to disconnect the nozzle. Unfortunately I lost mine and thought I could buy another one to replace it. Unfortunately the new one does not have the valve any more, so I have to take the hose off every time to read the pressure, which is a pain in the butt. Unfortunately, I'm past the return window (by a couple of days no less) and Amazon will let me return it at my expense and will only give me a partial refund. That will cost almost as much as what I bought it for. I still give it two stars because it is a good little compressor and it does a great job of inflating things. It's too bad I have to pull the valve off to check the pressure now or else it would have definitely gotten 5 stars.

Value for money
I was looking for something cheap and reliable, and this fits the bill. Using it for a while to fill the air in my car as well as SUV and it is working excellently. the only comment i hv to make is if the manufacturer can incorporate the tire pressure gauge in this unit, then I can give it 6 stars out of 5

Works as expected.
Works as expected but the cables (power + air output) are impossible to store properly in the storage compartment.
