Needed to power up my Garmin GPS MAP 76CSX on my bicycle with external 12 volts and provide data to a Kenwood TH-D7A handheld handlebar mounted radio for APRS. Works great!

Used this with my Garmin 60csx on my off road motorcycle and ig worked great. Connected directly to the battery and never had any issues with it. Lasted several years until I sold the bike.

Does what it is designed for.
This product performs exactly like it is supposed to. The only nick I have against it is the use of the round (old style) fuses. I think the unit should be fused but why not upgrade to a common blade style? The old glass fuses are getting harder and harder to come by these days. I removed the fuse anyway because I was connecting it to a fused block with a dedicated fuse and running the power from a switch.

Original quality cable
I needed another cable to be able to swich my GPS back and forth between two applications. I had previously ordered a cable from eBay. It was definitely not up to OEM quality. This one however was, as far as I can tell, the same as the one that came with the GPS unit when I originally purchased it.

Perfect for our GPSMAP 79sc
Perfect for using 12v boat power (no more batteries) and it sends GPS data to our VHF radio. Easy to setup with basic electrical knowledge.
