It works
For the do it yourselfer who only does this once every few years, this product does a nice job. I had to use it in a couple different places on the tractor's tire but it does break a stubborn bead. These kind of tools are for the guy who has more time than money. Believe it or not, buying this tool was cheaper than hiring someone to come out and replace the leaking inner tube. At the end, you still have the tool for the next time you want to spend a perfectly good afternoon wrestling a tractor tire.

Great little breaker
This is a great little breaker. I used it to change ATV tires that were mounted in 1999. After breaking a cheaper made breaker, I ordered this one and finished my little task in less than an hour. After breaking the beads, I used a manual tire machine from Harbor Freight. All in all, I'm glad I bought this breaker. I've since used it to change tire valves on trailers and a tractor tire. It paid for itself in the first month. If you need one, buy this. You won't be sorry.

Mechanism binds up
I purchased the product in 2022. I used it on 2 tires. No impact gun was ever used per directions. Used it today for the third time, one side worked fine. When used on the other side, the mechanism started to bind up. It cannot turn. I have photos showing the drive nut is in excellent shape because an impact wrench was NEVER used on this per instructions.

TIRED TIRES
I used this ESCO model 70160 on two large rear tractor tires that we had been unable to breakdown using any other method. Both tires were filled with calcium chloride and had leaked and rusted the tires to the rims. We moved the bead breaker two to three times on each bead and in 20 minutes all 4 beads were loose. This item cost less than my tire dealers service call charge. This was purchased from BUZZARD GULCH,INC threw Amazon. I have purchased other items from BUZZARD GULCH. They always ship fast and have stood behind their products when I have had problems. I have 100 tires on the ground and must repair them in the field at all hours. I should have bought this item years ago. I just could not believe it would work this well.

Not really worth the price
I gave it 3 stars only because it somewhat works. I used it on a tractor tire without removing the tire from the tractor. First, the instructions say to make sure to place between the bead and wheel but the bead was too tightly seated for that. I placed it in several spots barely loosening the bead and then put two bars between the bead and wheel then placed the breaker in the space I made with the bars and finally got the bead to break. I had to use bars on both front and back of the tire as the bead breaker never pushed the bead free without the help of the bars. If it cost $39.95 then I would say buy it but at over $100, save your money or buy another model. Removing the tire and using a hydraulic jack to break the bead works as well as this tool.

Patience and Practice makes using the breaker easy.
It works well once you get the hang of it and with a little practice. It works better on some rims than others. My Dodge Ram truck wheel has a chrome overlay which took some patience and care to get the breaker to grab the rim without pulling on the chrome overlay. Trailer tires were easy.

Great tool.
I used this tool to break the bead on a rusted 38 inch tractor tire. I moved the breaker twice a small amount, and it rolled the bead off. Great tool.

Esco bead breaker
I thought the product description was too good to be true, but I figured I would try it based on the good reviews. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it worked exactly as advertised! It easily broke the beads on 2 old 38 inch tractor tires with severely rusted rims due to leaking calcium. It also broke the beads on an old 36 inch tractor tire that had been on the rim for over 70 years! I highly recommend this product!
