Acoustic treatment, not sound proofing
It’s a large size, and is relatively anechoic. This won’t block sound from going through it (e.g. to another room), but it will help a lot with reducing echos and reflections in a room. They’re up front about the color not staying white (maybe use an acoustically transparent cloth over it if that’s important).
