Milwaukee should ship these with all batteries to keep them from shorting out in your tool bag. Unfortunately, they don't. I have a 3D printer, so I could make my own, but my wife got me a set of these for my birthday. They fit perfectly. They are strong. They beat my procrastination. I ordered another set and now I have one for all my loose batteries. You should get some, too, before it is too late.

Good cover to prevent shorts in the tool box

I like how it fits. It tight but not too tight. It covers the top and that what I need. It dose have 2 holes and screws if you want to mount them. I need it to protect the top of the batter when I have to travel with extra batteries.

If you're using Milwaukee M12 batteries, and they're stored or carried around loose, get these to protect the contacts on the batteries. These are almost the ultimate in inexpensive insurance for some rather expensive batteries.

Exactly as pictured and described. I sometimes carry my 12 volt Milwaukee batteries in the bag that comes with the tool, these covers provide protection for the top of the battery. Easy, cheap and convenient.
