Fantastic pair of buds overall
Positives:I've been using these pair of buds regularly for over 2 weeks now and I am very impressed. From the moment, I slotted them in, I was very pleased with the sound quality. The fit, finish and design is fantastic. I found the gesture controls to be reliable over 80% of the time but there can be a few moments where it doesn't register properly.I love the quality of the sound and the volume it goes up to. They fit comfortably in the ear for long periods of time but I would recommend memory foam tips if you can get your hands on them to make the experience even more comfortable.I tested the noise cancellation on public transport, inside noisy homes and windy outdoor environments and I was thoroughly impressed again. Given that these are buds and at a budget compared to flagship offerings, they do a fantastic job of cutting out noise. They won't drown out everything and you shouldn't expect them to do that but I reckon you'll be more than happy with these.I haven't fully tested the battery life but from my experience so far it's been very close to advertised hours.Negatives:I found that the buds do tend to come loose from my ears if I'm using them while talking, eating or working out. They don't fall out but they lose their seal and that affects the sound and noise cancellation.I also found the Bluetooth connection to be sketchy at times; there were audio lags, disruptions in playback or bugs when trying to pair to my laptop. But these instances were rare.Overall, I'm very pleased with these earbuds. Sure, you can get more "premium" branded offerings out there but they would cost 2-3 times as much as these and they sure won't be 2-3 times better. I'd recommend for the price!

Feature rich but connection issues
Noise cancelation is very good .Battery life is not as advertisedSound quality is good but bass heavy. App is good but some people have had issues with it.Bluetooth connection issues became so bad after 2 weeks i had to return them . Only one bud pairing and the other failed on most occasions. Shame because i really liked them as they are feature rich at this price bracket but became too frustrating to connect. Maybe i had a faulty one. But it has convinced me to go for sound quality over anc

Amazing
I had an issue with my first set so returned them and got a pair of new ones. I loved the AirPods pro for it seamless integration with Apple products but didn’t feel like the sound quality was worth £200. The Apollo’s replaced my AirPods Pro.Setup: Very easy to setup and took me less than a minute to get up and running.Connectivity: Very stable, but sometimes it takes longer than usual to connect to my iPhone 11 Pro.Sound quality: I am no audiophile and according to me these buds sound absolutely fantastic. I know a lot of the users say this is bass heavy which is correct but the other frequencies are clear and pronounced. They completely blow the AirPods Pro out of the water in terms of sound quality.Noise cancellation: They are good but a notch below the AirPods Pro. I’m sure Tronsmart can improve this with a software update.Call quality: Again they are good but don’t match the AirPods Pro which is the gold standard for me. People have told me that my voice sounds quite bassy at times. I’m sure Tronsmart can improve this with a software update.Controls: I must say tronsmart have done a great job with the touch control and having a huge touch area also helps.Battery life: I managed to get over 8 hours from these buds. It was a mix of work calls and music.Charging case: The case feels a bit cheap and big but can’t complain for the price.Overall I’m am satisfied with these buds and would recommend to anyone who wants premium features but doesn’t want to spend a lot of money.

Falls short in my opinion
Not a bad set of buds but there are quirks that I will highlight below so make sure you understand the limitations before you buy into the hype…Initially I experienced some issues with sound randomly cutting out and stuttering. This happened mostly when connected to computer or TV at 3 meter distance. I didn't experience this with my iPhone.Active Noise Cancellation is very poor in my opinion, basically non-existent in comparison to passive cancellation. Tested between 20-30dB. Does not reduce as advertised. Nowhere near comparable to either Airpods Pro or Sony WF-1000XM3 but is advertised as comparable on Tronsmart website.I experienced some Pairing issues.Pairing error: Using iPhone these buds only pairs one earbud and iOS says it fails on pairing request popup for the second bud. Having said this it does seem to go into a Master/Slave mode regardless of the error popup.Does not perform True Wireless Stereo Plus feature of simultaneously connecting to both earbuds. I’ve since learnt that this is not supported by my iPhone nor many other devices/phones including older Android devices. Some later Android devices are supposed to support this feature but I was unable to test for this review. So for most, only one earbud goes into pairing mode and pairs as the master. Difficult to control which earbud except by which earbud you retrieve from the charging case first.Sometimes the Bluetooth disconnects and goes into pairing mode so it won’t connect with the previously paired device without first telling the device to forget the earbuds and then repair again which is frustrating. When paired with the computer, if the pairing linked to the wrong bud as the master bud, I had the unfortunate experienced of their being no output connection. Very frustrating. You then have to go into computer's Bluetooth settings and disconnect that bud and then try to connect to the other bud to get both input and output, but since both buds have the same name it is very difficult to connect to the correct bud instead of accidentally reconnecting to the wrong bud. One bud tended to support 1 input and 0 outputs while the other supported 0 ins and 2 outs (stereo). So if you're not connected to the correct one you get no sound. Additionally the mic input sound works intermittently. Bluetooth connectivity also intermittent. In User Manual the Clear Pairing List function is listed as the tap and hold for 5 seconds method but Tronsmart YouTube video says this is the Reset function so there is conflicting information between their print and video instructions. I was able to perform the tap and hold for 5 seconds method. In User Manual the Reset function is listed as the tap 5 times method. I could not find a video on this method and I was unable to perform this method on the earbuds as they did not respond to the tap 5 times method. It took me a month to get this method to work by chance so I’m afraid I’m unable to give instruction on how I did it in the end.Sound attenuation issues:It's seems the headphones have either a compressor or a noise gate built into them which attenuates sounds below a certain threshold. This makes it very frustrating when trying to watch TV shows as the background sounds can cut out between dialogue and is slow to kick back in when dialogue continues making you miss the beginning of sentences spoken by characters on the screen. I had the buds at full volume and the TV volume output set quite low when experiencing this issue. I did find a way around this however - turning the TV volume up and the earbud volume down a bit to compensate for the increased volume overall, seemed to fix this. My guess is that with the TV volume being higher that meant that the audio input into the earbuds exceeded the built-in threshold and so was no longer subject to attenuation by the built-in noise gate.Call recipients reported decent sound indoors but when I was outside the calls were unintelligible to the recipient. Quiet neighbourhood, quiet street, but a bit of a breeze = impossible to have a telephone conversation.Battery life of case not as advertised in my experience. After single use of earbuds, from full charge, for a few hours I’d put earbuds back in case to charge, the following morning when earbuds removed from case again I found the case flashes red indicating the case had less than 10% battery left.I also had issue with the left bud not charging due to charging connection issues.Otherwise the battery life of the earbuds themselves was good enough that I was not able to run them down in a single sitting. I expect that this would be different if I was on a long haul flight but a quick top-up in the charging case would see me through without problem. The long awaited app has now been released. I hope Tronsmart do better in future versions of the app as the initial version was not very helpful in my opinion.- Contains 5 useless EQ presets without any graphical representation neither for your reference nor customisation.- Allows limited touch customisation but I didn’t find any need to change from the existing configuration- Allows switch control for noise cancellation feature but this is available on the earbuds anyway through the earbuds touch control- Shows individual earbud battery life but not battery life of the case- Provides function to update firmware (only useful feature in my opinion) but you have to manually do each earbud separatelyHaving highlighted all these issues I must say that these earbuds sound pretty good. I generally liked the sound for music listening. I noticed, when watching adverts (between YouTube videos, for instance), the bass was a bit overwhelming but I did not find the same when listening to my own music library.I also found the earbuds to be comfortable and surprisingly stable in my ears. They look good too.I wouldn’t purchase these for their Active Noise Cancellation abilities since they definitely fall short but they do offer a hear-through/ambient sound mode that works quite well if you need to be able to hear your surroundings while wearing the buds. The ambient mode is a bit tinny and artificial but you quickly become accustomed to it after switching to ambient mode.I’d also be cautious about purchasing these if you plan to use these for telephone call while outdoors. However if you mostly want to listen to music and have a good looking, secure set of true wireless earbuds plus you understand the quirks and maybe find them on sale then these are not a bad purchase (especially if you happen to have an Android device that supports True Wireless Stereo Plus). Just don’t buy into all the marketing hype because although these are not bad earbuds I don’t believe they are quite as advertised.
