DIY Oil Paint by Numbers for Adults and Kids,Acrylic Paintworks with Canvas for Beginners and Experienced Hobby Painters(Colorful Cat)

I didn't read well enough. Way too small and cannot get the canvas to lay flat. Will not buy again.

I've done PBN's by other brands and was always somewhat dissatisfied with the printing on the canvas or the paint (quantity and quantity). This label provided extra paint on for the larger areas where needed and the paint itself was an excellent consistency. The creases in the canvas from packaging were minimal. Laying the canvas print side facing down, I placed a towel over the canvas. With a little light steam and consistency, a few minutes later the creases were gone. Paint by numbers sounds like a child or a youngsters activity but it's not. Intricate and meticulous to detail...I get lost in doing these for hours. I relax, my anxiety fades, the outside world goes away and the satisfaction of seeing the completed piece is one of utter pride. I will definitely be ordering more to do even before my chimp is completed.

Definitely not an oil paint, it is acrylic but not watered down like some kits. Some of the colors, like the dark blue (number 8) of the sky, do not give enough product to do two coats. I would recommend using your own brushes because the brushes are okay but can make the paint look streaky. Really like the design, easy to cover up the black lines from the outline, and also looks very vibrant.

I thought it would be a great gift for someone who loves to color/draw. I had one as a kid and loved it. I haven't seen the results yet, but the canvas looks good. The package was badly damaged when received. Hard to wrap as a gift. Also, to make easier to paint, I taped the canvas to cardboard. Don't think you could paint it without attaching to something. Can't wait to se the results.

I just finished this yesterday, framed it and it looks quite nice. Certainly not museum quality, but good enough to be a bit proud of. One thing, some of the spots are so so tiny that you should leave them until last and then figure out for yourself what color would look best. The paint is plentiful, brushes are crummy as always . I don't like the cloth surface of the painting, more difficult to get paint to spread without making lines and have to be covered later when dry. But all in all, a good price and a good learning picture to start your artistic career.

I really liked this it's going to look awesome once I finish it well at least I hope so , lol . If there was something I could fix on this product it would be the number placing .

So much fun to do. Only trouble I have had is in stretching the canvas on a frame. It's harder than I thought to get it lined up. Next time I will buy one already on the frame.

If you have little to no paint by number experience, do not start with this one. I purchased 8 previous paint-by-number paintings before this one. I do not believe the re-seller of THIS painting was any one of the previous paintings I did. I have gained practice and success from painting the other 8. All the other paintings were shown accurately with the colors corresponding to the the numbers on the canvas. The numbers corresponding to the colors of THIS painting was way off -- with many blank spots. I had to eye-ball the details on my own -- and paint many, to most of the details "from scratch". Due to my painting experience gained from the previous pictures, it did come out quite nice, However, if this is your first one -- do not start with this item.
