Excellent, heavy, versatile slide.
I've been a slide guitar player for a long time and I've tried loads of "legit" slides and loads of random bits of glass and metal... I think this has to be my new favourite slide in general and definitely my favourite intended for use with lap style. That bit's important, folks! This will be pretty much useless for any other style of slide guitar than lap/pedal steel.Pros:Fits perfectly in your hand, isn't awkward to hold and gives a lot of control (I'm six feet three inches tall with long fingers so it should be okay for any hand shape/size)Can be a lot more accurate with your notes thanks to the leading edge, if you do a lot of soloing for exampleA good weight to it (now this could either be good or bad, depending on your personal choice or if you have arthritis, it is REALLY heavy)Cons:The price is honestly the only con, it was originally at £55 when I added it to my wishlist and really I didn't think I would ever pay that but as it went down to £30 I thought I would go with it and give it a try. In my opinion it is worth it, it really is the best slide I have used so far and I've used a lot!

Surprisingly heavy and smooth
The sheer weight of this is impressive for the size and the tone is excellent. It’s also perfectly smooth and is staying that way after some use, unlike some of the cheaper ones I’ve tried.

This isn't the Long Dawg, it's the Lap Dawg!
You will not get a Long Dawg tonebar if you buy this item from this seller. You will get a Dunlop Lap Dawg tonebar, which is the Dunlop 926 model. The Long Dawg is 3.1 inches long and is the 927 model. So this seller should really update the listing and make the correction. Now, about this tonebar that arrived (the 926). I'm a beginner dobro player and this is my first tonebar. I don't have much to compare it to. It is easy to use and creates a nice sound. Hammer ons and pull offs are great and the size if fine. It covers all six strings and there are a few millimeters left on the bass and treble sides. Tonebars are pretty expensive for what they are; and I probably won't be buying a second one soon.

give it time
quite small so to start it gave me a little cramp in the hand when playing, but I seem to have adjusted and now I use it instead of the shubb GS1

Best Tone Bar
I've got a few tone bars but this one is my favourite. It is very comfortable, the weight is perfect, and the sound you get is so smooth. I'll have to get another one as a spare!

Pedal steel tonebar.
Having tried other suppliers for the correct size tonebar you are the only one to send me the correct one for 10-string pedal steel guitar. the others were for lap steel. Thank you.Ted .H.
