Reliable Instruction
I'm a DIYer and have used many how-to manuals over the years. Black &Decker manuals have become my go-to manuals for whatever project I may have to tackle. Their manuals have very clear instructions and pictures of the projects in progress, minimizing the guess work that occurs when transitioning from the book to my particular work area. Sometimes I'm tempted to skip over the basics they have, but have found tips & techniques in those sections that were very helpful. I really appreciate the updated versions that show the use of newer materials, tools, and techniques.

Bought "used like new" and came new in wrap
Perfect condition. Wrap had a bit of dust and wear looks like stored a while. Books themselves are good, but the Home How To has some about repairs and lots of improvements but very little on routine maintenance.

No these books aren't hardcover but the slipcase is nice and sturdy
No these books aren't hardcover but the slipcase is nice and sturdy. Arrived in brand new condition with a plastic seal. Lots of good content with step by step instructions including plenty of pictures. Considering the price I paid on Amazon vs the price listed at other retailers, I think it's well worth the money. I've seen it listed for $40-$50 elsewhere
