Forseti SteelSir Edmund Damascus Steel Knife

Was looking for a unique knife for my engagement party last Saturday. I am engaged to a Kenyan woman and in her family's culture - the groom has to kill the first goat at the engagement celebration. So, I wanted a knife that would have some meaning - with the beautiful camel bone representing my current work in Somalia and the blade....that is just unique and everybody was very impressed. As an added bonus, I had guests sign the wooden box. Someday I hope to be able to give the knife and the box as to one of my kids. And yes, the knife did the deed - it came sharp...but, I gave it some extra edge to make the work on the goat a bit quicker.

I have not got so far since it was purchased for more than 6 months, I do not know what happened to her

this is a pretty good knife. it is bigger than I expected, but it is very sharp, well balanced and as presented.

The knife is even better in real life that the pictured one. Razor sharp out of the box. Good packaging. beautiful piece. It's worth every dollar

I bought it for my husband, he is extremely hard to shop for, he liked it. "It is superb quality," he said. He said he would like to have more info about the knife though, maybe like who made it and where, it would be nice if it was stamped too, would make it more valuable with time.

this knife is awsome i love it. really heavy duty, really nice. this knife was so nice, i bought the gurkha knife, which is a piece of crap, dont understand there made by the same company and the gurkha knife is larger than this one , yet weighs half as much

Its a great knife. Probably too nice. I actually didn't want to use it to cut anything when I went on a recent camping trip. If you are looking for a carry knife this probably isn't the knife for you. Unless you are trying to be like Crocodile Dundee.
