So, these are indeed fast dry paint pens with very fine tips. They are PLASTIC tips though, and that is what helps give it it the fine shape consistently. Not a brush tip or even felt tip like what you can get with markers. The tips are retractable, for pumping. On first use, the tip will be white. You shake the pen several times, and then press the tip into something (like spare paper towel) to help the paint rush down to the tip. Then it will be ready for use. Because it is a plastic tip, it might take a little bit to get used to how to provide pressure in drawing, but not too bad. This is not meant for wide use in big strokes of painting large surfaces. Again, these are FINE point. These are meant for detailing and calligraphy. Fine lines. But the plastic tip means it will keep the fine lines well.

I bought this set when my single black paint pen of another brand ran out in the middle of a wall mural. Delivery was quick and now that I had many colors it was easier to add depth to the mural than with paintbrushes alone. I am very happy overall with how well they work for tiny variations in the art!

I've used the orange pen. It took several pumps to get flowing but then it flowed freely. If flowed a bit too fast for my use. If you are using this on a hard surface be aware that it will flow quickly. The flow speed negates the fine point.

First of all, it took me several minutes to get the pen started. Follow the instructions as given otherwise they won't work. Though the instructions said that make the tip go up and down several times, I have to work quite many times for 2-3 minutes.But once it started, it writes really smoothly. The ink won't stay if you touch it instantly. It scribbled something and the just left it for few hours. When I rechecked, the ink was not going away anymore. I tried on a mug. It is a great packet to modify your work. It really looked beautiful.

The media could not be loaded.  These water-based paint pens are FANTASTIC! As an artist I can tell you the quality and price make buying these a no brainier. I love how thin a line you can write and how evenly the paint is distributed as you draw. They are so easy to use! If you can write with a pen, you will be able to use these paint pens effortlessly. (See video) the colors are highly pigmented and dry vibrantly too! Also worth mentioning, the packaging is also really impressive. Not only was the box shrink-wrapped, but also each marker was individual shrink-wrapped to! The instructions included are really thorough too. (See pictures) We had a blast painting rocks with these and I'm already planning using these to customize ornaments for unique Christmas gifts this year! I definitely recommend purchasing these paint pens!

I tried to find marker pens that would suit my needs but I don’t know if it was just what I was using or these specific pens. I use them on a piece of wood and that was fine but when I try to use them on canvas it was very difficult

took a bit to come in but they work great and it’s super satisfying to use! It does stay on the cup you just cannot use a rough sponge or dishwasher.

I love these! I was struggling to find something that would come out well and stay on wood, and these were perfect on surface of the wood tokens. They are pretty vibrant colors that are easy to layer as long as you let them dry. The colors may run a little bit on porous material as your writing.

I purchased these paint pens for painting on rocks. Ive had them for less than a week and found most of the pens in the packet to be unreliable and disappointing. Some of them don’t have enough density of colour to give good cover on the rock. Others don’t flow freely and require constant priming and some release too much paint and leave blobs of paint where I don’t want it. I’m now looking at alternative brands of paint pens and regret purchasing these pens.
