Built like a tank
This product weights like a ton. Seriously, this is a well built opener. Once I turned the picture upside down and played with the different ways to attach the unit and swing arms it made sense. I’ve replaced existing unit in the past which were plug and play. This was my first ground up install on an exterior security gate. I guess had the mounting been on the opposite side and lower it would have matched the drawing in the instructions. But it mounted via welding and works like a charm. Easy adjustments for pressure to. I’d buy again from this vendor.

Hardcore Strong
We had problems with our dogs slipping around us when the door was open. This device pulls this door in and the dogs are unable to nose their way out. Does the job. Strong pull on the door with multiple adjustments to slow, speed up the closing of the door along with the ability to set the strength of the door pull at the same as setting the speed. Works well.

Works VERY well but heavy
This was not that difficult to install BUT it is heavy so unless you are used to lifting 10 lb weights, you might want some help. Make sure you use the template to line up the holes and if you do then it is easy to install. Shuts my heavy metal front door very nicely.
