StowMasterSS120X Saltwater Series Precision Landing Net, Silver/Blue

This net is AWESOME! Big enough for massive stripers and musky, yet folds down smaller than our last net, which was not even close to this size. Worth every penny! The Guardian netting is a big plus because it does less damage to fish while also remaining practically hook-free. I have one problem with the net, though...it weighs 5 pounds! That is not a huge problem except for the fact that if it is extended all the way out, it feels REALLY heavy. I never need it extended, so I removed the extra extensions and attached a cork handle from a spinning rod with a screw through the hole the push button goes through. Now the net only weighs 3 lbs, so it is a little better.P.S. The netting is 42" deep, not 38" deep like Amazon claims.

It's huge but folds up; real long but compacts to fit under my gunnel. Probably don't need all 10 feet but it could come in handy.

I invested in the net shortly after I had on of my Frabill collasable nets bend and barely land a monster 30# ling cod and I could not have that happen again. It is pricey but it sure as heck paid off for its self when we landed a 60# halibut with this net. Now I know there are other nets that can do the same sure! But it is extremely important to note that I had a couple friends on the boat who have zero experience saltwater fishing much less landing larger fish. Any after some helpful yelling and instructions they netted the fish flawlessly and lift the 60# halibut out of the water straight from the handle. Even incorrectly lifting the fish, the net handled flawlessly and did not snap in half making it totally worth your investment. I just wish it came would float
