Guide to Network Defense and Countermeasures

I needed this book for class and I found this to be the best price for it. Great read, very informative, and the writing is an easy read. I like the layout of the pages, font size is ideal, and I really enjoyed it my class because of it. Definitely a great read! You will walk away from it with a very well rounded perspective.

Well-written with helpful end of chapter summaries, a list of important terms, and hands-on exercises. Read from start to finish or whichever chapters you feel interest you/cover topics you are weakest in. An essential guide for any aspiring security-related certifications.

Good book, lots of detail without getting overly technical. I needed to get it for a class and while I didn't like the price it will be a good reference for later on if I need it. It has some specific examples about the techniques it was discussing with screen shots and how-to's.

The textbook is exactly what I needed for a college level class. It was delivered expeditiously.

Very in dept on the issues! A must have for any one embarking on security career! I am currently enrolled in a class where this book is used and as a class I personally, find the book informative!

The windows version of the eBook reader is absolutely terrible. I wont be buying another kindle version of a book.
