Dive Flag and Float 2 Piece for Snorkeling and Scuba

I’m not sure if I should return it, try to fix it up, or just throw it away. The upper flag pole is not equipped with a male ferrule, so it fits very loosely in the lower flag pole. The product image shows a metal crimp forming a loop in the bottom of the line but the one I received had a knot instead. This knot failed instantly. It will be a miracle if the lead stays attached to the bottom of the pole. Save your money.
