Very impressed, absolutely perfect for the price
This is the first CCTV gadget I have bought, and was half expecting it to not work with my basic WiFi home package or be of poor quality, but have been genuinely impressed with it. It's incredible how you can access it and look 360 degrees around your room from thousands of miles away whilst on holiday. I had a spare 1GB microSD card and decided to use that rather than purchase anything additional initially, and have found that it lasts roughly 2 days, because it isn't recording all the time, only when it is triggered, and that can be by changes in lights, e.g. car headlights passing my window, or the postman delivering letters and so on. You can play back the little video snippets it captures to see what triggered it. Usually car headlights passing in the street lighting up through my windows, for where I have it positioned. The night vision is incredible - very clear and impressive, and I only use it on the low quality setting so it is easier to access over a remote internet connection abroad. I can thoroughly recommend it, and now that I know it works so well I am considering buying one for upstairs too, just for peace of mind with respect to all the recent storms, to check the windows are ok and there's no leaking from the roof or something. It's an amazing gadget for the money, and installation was straightforward.

Impressive
Annoyingly, this has gone down in price since I bought it!But that's really the only annoying thing. I'm not very gadget minded (I don't have a smart phone) and I was worried about setting this up, which would be with my PC. For that I had to download the Reolink Client. Once I had that, connection to my wi-fi was relatively simple once I realised what SSID meant and had obtained a mgnifying glass to read the UID on the base of the camera. So far so good, but I did than have problems setting up the cameral for motion-triggered overnight recording of my poorly dog. The instructions that come with the camera don't really say anything about that, although I suspect that people who are used to gadgetry probably wouldn't have any difficulty. So I got in touch with Reolink support thriough the chat facility on their website and they were wonderful, referred me to various helpful documents on the website and were extermely patient! End result was that I quickly realised what I had to do and successfully set up SD recording.Picture quality is very good and is clear as a bell at night. After these initial teething problems, I'm really pleased with the product and with the support.

Good little camera
This was purchased to keep an eye on my office whilst I am at home. It was very quick to set up and install. I managed to forget my password but Fiona at the Reolink Support team were able to sort out my problem very quickly. I have installed the Reolink Client app on my desktop computer which means I can check and control the camera on a full screen. Well worth the money.

Bought 2
One is in the garage and the other is used in the house for when we're away. They work well and the pictures ok.

So far - excellent
I wanted 3 more cameras to add to the 3 I already had of a different make but couldn't find any to match the video and optical quality of the originals, which have since changed dramatically for the worse, in their later versions. I use all cameras inside but covering outside areas through the windows - no infrared light, motion detection, or alarms needed - just straight recording to the SD cardsI settled on these Reolink and was very pleasantly surprised. Professionally packaged, clear well written instructions and thoughtful little extras like CCTV stickers and bracket templates. Setup was a piece of cake even though I dislike doing it on mobile phones and the Desktop application is great - using negligible CPU resourcesThe video quality during the day rivals the first cameras I had, but the night vision on Auto is simply phenomenal. Clear as a bell and the WiFi range is perfect. It picks up local networks from over 75 yards away. They don't lose settings or memory when unplugged and moved around the properties and so far I can't fault them in any way Two setup so far and third to follow soon. All Firmware has been updated easily with their latest release . Very pleased with everything so far

So far so good
Easy to install. Just plug it ,download the app by scan the barcode on the info leaflet, on the app will ask you to put the pass of ur wifi, to scan the barcode on the cam that is under the cam and is connected.Only thing I have not figured out is it does not have an off button so I just unplug from wire it feels that I should not be doing that. But I only want it on when out of the house. But so far so good.

Unreliable
In the last three years I bought three cameras from Reolink. At the moment, one failed completely, and another one has developed connection issues.I sent an email to Reolink to enquire about possible ways to bring the failed camera back from the dead, but never got a reply. It's a pity. They were good while they worked; they are simple to install, and the app is good quality (hence the two stars). But their lifetime is way too short for their price. Given the lack of support from the manufacturer, it stinks of programmed obsolescence.Time to look for something better.Update:The second camera has now failed completely. Bricked witout a reason. Hence, I have taken the rating down to 1 star.
