Sleep InnovationsQuilted Memory Foam Micro-Cushion Pillow Standard

I'd just like to say that even though I have had this pillow for nearly 4 weeks, I have only used it 2 times. At first I was unsure if I was going to return it for a second time because it was the second time I received a Standard size pillow 20x26" instead of a Queen size pillow 20x30" that I paid for. Then it smelled for a long time even though I tried to keep it out of its cover to air it out. I tried sleeping on it one night and couldn't sleep with the smell. I finally got rid of the smell by spraying it with Fabreeze. I was able to use it last night so I am sure that with use, my overall rating may change. I originally used a pillow like this while on vacation and loved it so much I inquired with the manufacturer to find the same pillow and was directed to this one at Amazon. I hope this helps you. I am used to sleeping on a King-sized pillow and so I thought I'd purchase the Queen-sized as it was available, instead of the Standard size. It is only a difference of 4 more inches but it would help. It seems they really don't have Queen-size, so if you are interested in purchasing it, don't waste your money $6.72 more over the Standard size because you will be disappointed. Today I called Amazon and received a Promotional Certificate for $5 in lieu of a refund for the amount.

I love these pillows. Best I’ve ever had. I sleep so much better now. My nephew showed me his that he has had for years which is why I purchased them. Unfortunately, his are regular standard size whereas the ones I ordered are extremely short. They should be referred to as “mini pillows.” That’s how small they are which is why I had to order 4. Otherwise, I would have given my review 5 stars.

The memory foam is firm but adjustable. While sleeping on my side, I can breathe easily because my nose and mouth are exposed, yet my neck is not bent because the pillow holds my head up,At first, the pillow felt a little high — probably because my old pillow was showing its age, but after a few days, either I or the pillow adjusted to just the right height. I don't really care which did the adjusting. :-)

I am really picky about pillows. This one did not work for me. I was hoping it was similar to my previous pillow by this company but it was not.

The smaller standard size pillow was NOT as comfortable as the 2 king size that I bought. It had a different type cover and not as full of memory foam.

Tried out many different pillows over the past 5 months to relieve my neck pain. Finally got the Sleep Innovations Quilted Memory Foam Micro-Cushion Pillow with Soft Microfiber Cover and I was amazed that after about a week of breaking them in, the pain in my neck went away. Like these so much that I bought 4 more. Highly recommend for all sleep positions as I am a side sleeper. Also price is good for this type of pillows.

The most serious issue with this pillow is the off gassing. Other reviewers have mentioned the strong odor and some have said that airing it out of the plastic bag for 24 hours helps. It doesn't. I aired it for 24 hours and no change. I washed it. I dried it using low heat for an hour and sprayed Febreze in the drier for added measure. NOTHING HELPED. The smell is bad enough, but it has a chemical component. I am no chemist, but I suggest that smelling the fumes while laying your head on it all night may be dangerous. This is also a very FIRM pillow and the height is too high to be comfortable for side sleepers like me. If the manufacturer saved by adding 25% less fill and somehow neutralized the chemical smell, they would have a much better product. I hate to return things so I will have some slip covers made and use the two pillows I bought as sofa pillows which should be fine for that since they are so firm and I don't have to have my nose in it.
