PetSafe Replacement High-Traction Treads for Happy Ride Folding Dog Ramp, Black

I have used the pet safe ramp outside for several years for my dog with orthopedic issues. Recently I noticed that the traction surface was starting to come off, so I went looking for a replacement. I was super excited to find the replacements available from Pet Safe. I easily put the replacement on the ramp and it looks like new. This saved me from having to buy a new ramp. Very pleased.

I ordered these to replace the torn grips on our pup’s car ramp. She is an older golden retriever and car rides can be stressful enough at times. These grips help keep her from sliding up and down the ramp which makes both of our lives much easier. I definitely recommend these if you are needing to replace the grips on your ramp! My pup is much more confident now that the grips aren’t torn.

So far pretty pleased. Sturdy enough for my 65 pound boxer. The down fall being the rough traction. Purchased a self adhesive carpet for go over but that was a waste of $$ as it won’t stay in place because it doesn’t stick well. Using this ramp on a Ram 2500 and it works well with the step rail but otherwise to steep.

I purchased to replace the worn out tread on my 14 year old dachshund's ramp he uses to get on the couch. I might as well used sandpaper. It hurt his paws and when he went to get down, he slid. Absolutely no traction. He has been limping ever since. I fear he pulled a muscle. I feel so bad for him. I just ordered him a whole new ramp.

My 14 y/o Boston now uses a ramp with non skid material to go up her ramp and get in bed. This product keeps her from slipping. Works great!!

Dogs slide from top to bottom but, it is a cover anyhow. Probably alot better for steps and not slopes

This ramp is excellent. Sturdy, well designed for both opening and folding it closed. The surface is way too scratchy so I immediately ordered the softer stick pads. The surface pads were easy to peel off and replace. Yes I recommend this product but I wish they would just change out the surface.

We have had the dog ramp for years, but tread had worn out and the dogs were sliding. Just stuck the replacement tread on top of the old tread and the ramp is as good as new.
