Dog Cat Sling Carrier Adjustable Padded Shoulder Strap with Large Zipper Pocket & Mesh Pocket for Outdoor Travel

We are moving to NYC so I needed a carrier for our 20lb dog. It was hard to tell whether more typical totes would fit correctly with the neck hole & all that. So I tried this &, while it will take a little getting used to, it seems like it will do the trick. My dog is very comfortable being held so she did not mind being in the sling. The padded shoulder strap is *very* comfortable.People who say that the mesh makes it a little hard to get the dog in are correct. I have the best luck getting all the paws & legs fully inside the sling when I am sitting down.My only complaint is that it comes with a pad thing to make (I think) the bottom more solid & I can't figure out how to use it well. There is velcro on 2 ends but nothing in the sling to stick the velcro to so it kind of just sticks to the mesh top. So I haven't used the pad at all.

Love the lock-in hook that I attach to my puppy’s harness for extra safety and it’s lightweight! We’re able to keep phones, keys, leash and extra baggies in the front pocket so we’re pretty much ready to go ( minus @Ajaxthesheepy). It’s machine washable so we didn’t hesitate to use it for anything. Helped keep a sleepy pup with us hands free doing errands, going to parks and even kayaking- we attached the hook to his life vest and let him sit outside of the bag on my lap. Only reason i’m giving it 4 stars is because I didn’t get the added padding mentioned that other reviews show by the shoulder. Would still buy again, great bang for the buck and made bringing our puppy along much easier!

Comfortable and sturdy. My 15-lb dog stayed in it when I first rescued him. He was fine with the sling right away but also was ok to let it go and walk the whole distance on his own over time. He needed to condition his pads for outdoor walking. He gets excited when I put it on now😀

We recently rescued a one year old 14 pound Jack Russell mix, and she thinks she has more stamina than she really does. We live in Florida, and for her late afternoon walk she’ll tear down the street and then, halfway home she poops out and flops down. I needed a sturdy but lightweight carrier I could wear like a purse to hold her and carry her safely home. This carrier has worked great! I left it in her bed with all her toys for a few days to let her get used to it. I can now carry her home in the heat fairly easily and safely (I do keep one arm under it to keep it steady and help her feel secure), and it’s still light enough not to be burdensome on me - an overweight, out-of-shape 65 year old!

One of our dogs is definitely a Daddy's girl, and when my big manly husband mentioned that he would carry her around in a sling, I made him promise and then jumped on the opportunity to buy one. This was the one I chose after spending way too long looking through options. It is a very nice quality, however, advertising it as "adjustable" leads one to believe this will comfortably fit a variety of bodies. And while my husband does look like an NFL linebacker, this sling fitting and average guy would probably be a stretch. The strap came already loosened as far as it could go, and at that length, fit my 5' 4" 130 pound self just right. So, if you are small, this is an excellent sling. But with this limited of an "adjustable" fit, they need to be more specific in their description of how it fits the human, as well as the dog. Will be returning, because Ducky is not going to tolerate any one else carrying her around like that.

Very hard to put your puppy into

Difficult to adjust. Even when he was secure, my dog would slide down into the harness and start struggling, causing me pain. This lasted less than a week and I had to give it up and buy a baby buggy for him

Purchase for our 7 month parti yorkie for our trip to New York for Christmas. It fit her to a tee with extra room (12#, Neck 12", Girth 17.5" & Height 9"). I lined a blanket on the inside bottom of the sling for her comfort and warmth at the same time she wore her jacket while in it. Best purchase I have made.
