Could be much better, but it does it's job
It's huge! But I like it like that as I can watch on YouTube trough it's browser.I like it with the Garmin Driver app connected on my phone by Bluetooth, as I can search a place on Google maps, pin the location manually and then share it by Bluetooth to driver app and it calculates on my LGV1000 the destination. ( I would of liked if I could easily access to save it to favourites after that, but the process is a bit annoying as I have to go to history, sellect it, save as favourite, then go to favourites select it, info, edit, rename it)My voice commands didn't work, and I had to follow up their troubleshooting, which ment installing Garmin express on my pc,(very important to run it as administrator, or will give error) then reinstalled Europe maps, and factory reset, update everything on Garmin, and then I had Voice commands working. Took a while and struggle. It takes very good routes, you can manually adjust them if you want.Sees closed roads and tells you and gets best route after that.Would of liked to have more control on route editting, like readjusting way points, which is not easy accessable...

NOT UP TO PRICE TAG!
Expensive!Great screen size *****WHY WHY WHY Does it think You can do 60mph?! Its a truck sat nav so ALL trucks are governed to 56mph (90kmh) So a 60mile journey on the motorway takes more than 60 mins!!!!!!!!! I do 2-3000 a week so it makes a difference!!!! NO STARS!!!!!Very quite! Can't hear it very well at all especially at anything above 5mph! NO STARS!!!My Tom Tom was so much easier and accurate speeds etc!!

Not road tested yet
Haven’t actually used it yet but due to accident at work and off. But early indications and feed back from a fellow driver is, looking good. I’ve came from the hated Snooper DB6500 to this and it’s night and day. I’ve been updating(manually) my important “favourites” and believe me I have a lot. It’s a bit laborious but adding favourites while in real time use is very easy. Map detailing is outstanding the one thing I can’t(yet) review is the refresh rate while driving. That’ll come later. But all in all is it worth the hefty price tag? I’d probably say yes. If you have the funds then go for it.

Excellent!
Money well spent! I'm a multi-drop hgv driver and I need an very good sat nav for my job. The Garmin dezl LGV1000 is absolutely brilliant. Very clear 10" touch screen, voice command option for route setting, and unlike most sat navs which can only locate a destination if it's got a house number, this accepts house names as well. Very handy for trying to find an address down a country lane! Lovely 3D landscape imaging of London as well.

Completely useless for hgv. Waste of money
Total waste of money. Whole set up for double deck c+e has been done but it's still going under weight and height restriction. It supposed to have live traffic but don't see roadworks and closed roads, issues with road recalculating. Last night it took me into estate down dead end road then via 7.5t on way back. Enough it's enough. Never again. Will get back to Tomtom.Only good point it's a huge screen , except that total disappointment.

Pricey but superb.
Does exactly what it is supposed to and more. Huge screen makes navigation easy. Syncs with phone and has a browser, which is great for Netflix etc on that big screen. I can't fault the screen quality at all. Clear sharp images.

Shame
Having previously having the dezl 770 I thought I would treat myself after having my eye on this since it’s release, the nav arrived quickly, I used it for a few days but said it needed to update, tried wirelessly as this was one of the reasons I bought this, but wouldn’t update, said ‘no internet’ when it was showing connected so I decided to connect through the wire from my pc, took about 90mins to download and install then put it away, used it the following Monday with no maps, tried to reload again that night but no improvement, reluctantly I had to return but has definitely not put me off, great crisp screen with better routing than my previous model and of course a large screen, hopefully my next one with connect and install correctly.

FMI 35 Serial Data Cable with FM Antenna wasn't supplied
This item was purchased as a digital live traffic receiver but the digital power lead wasn't supplied as the price reflected and advertised, The FMI 35 Serial Data Cable with FM Antenna was missing so you have no other option, but to use your own mobile telephone data to receive the traffic live updates via the blue tooth app. This mean you mobile has to be permanently plug into a charger too as the app drain the mobile battery quite quickly and you do have difficulties in reconnecting you blue tooth to the truck nave if you walk away from the device with your mobile. Doesn't always reconnect and pair automatically.
