String is a bit weak , holds rabbits still, just go steady pulling the peg.. Shoe lace helps

As if 2023 it has become illegal to use snare traps within the uk. If caught you will receive a criminal conviction under the animal cruelty act. There are far more humane ways to deal with rabbits.
