There are two paint brushes included.Although the painting side is not canvas material as it clearly says cotton, it has been prepped with layers of acrylic. I can't say that it is perfectly smooth, but a rough texture always gave a piece of art more character.There are no mini easels in this set, so if your idea is to have a set for gifting - this is not it. The backing for each canvas panel is rigid cardboard, thin, and light. So if you're looking to hang the finished masterpiece, I guess it would be easy to stick onto the wall.You can present this to a budding artist, and they could use it to make miniature paintings like those minimalistic ones that are trending. The ideas are endless for a blank canvas. Sometimes, it's also great to have around for the sudden spark of inspiration.

So to be perfectly honest when I saw these advertised I made the assumption 10x10 was in inches not cm!! So was surprised when these arrived so small. This is my error but I do think that it should state cm in the item title it would be clearer that way.That aside these are 10x10 cm canvas boards. I wouldn’t say they were perfectly square so wouldn’t use them to create a gift painting, but for fun or for my children to use these are decent quality. They are primed so should be able to cope with most paints and being a board makes them strong, no issues with the canvas sagging etc.You get 8 canvas boards and two brushes. The brushes are very basic but useable.At £7.99 (Sept ‘21) these work out at about £1 per board (excluding the brushes) that’s ok value I would have thought they were cheaper but it’s acceptable. I wouldn’t purchase again for myself because they aren’t perfectly square but for my children I would.
