You can tell that this reel is built to last and perform. Especially for its price, like a hidden gem. Delivered on time, got to test it out the other day and it feels super smooth. Love the feel of the casts and returns. Wasn't sure I was going to keep it at first but it has become my everyday reel. Highly reccomend

Even though it is a very nice looking reel. The drag one the reel is very loose. What I'm staying is when you adjust drag. It seems to me that you really have to crank the knob unlike most reels I have one click goes a long way. .

I was doubtful when I purchased the reel. Boy was I shocked. The quality and performance of this reel is impressive. It performs just like my high dollar reels if not better. Hauled in alot of bass with no problems. I plan on purchasing several more.

I broke my Pflueger Supreme XT Spinning Fishing Reel bought 3 years ago and want a replacement. Came across this one and decide to give it a try. So far so good. Solid build and acts really fast. Beats my expectation for a cheap replacement.

I own 3, a 3000, 5000, and 7000 and they are the best in class for the money. You won't regret it.

A friend introduced this to me and after using it a couple of times, I enjoyed it. The line feels very light and casting it feels effortless.

Very pleasantly surprised about this reel....straight out of the box it feels like its well made. Has a decent weight and balance to it.Certainly not like the lightweight plastic rubbish you usually get at this price. Now lockdown easing will see how it performs in action....but i suspect it will do very well.For the price it bats well above average...very happy with my purchase.Got to use it yesterday at Chesil. Blanked unfortunately but can't blame the reel! Very smooth action ...i loaded with mono...and a fast retrieve.Seriously great value and looks then nuts too!

This reel is a fairly smooth unit but now that I have use it I wish I had bought its bigger brother. I have used it with braid and mono and much prefer to use it with mono. Thinner braids tend to overlap and the reel does little help this. Again I have use it with a spinning rod and a heavyweight 12ft beachcaster, it does not feel particularly at home on the heavy rod.There are a couple of annoying things about it too, it comes with a roll of braid but it would be far better to have a spare spool, not even sure if you can get spares.It has an anti reverse mechanism which is greatly located at the front lower part of the unit , in easy reach of your fingers, unfortunately it is a small rudder like switch that stands proud when activated. As this is not a big reel you can easily hit the switch with your fingers if you grab for the reel or if you use rod rests, the first you will know is when it starts spoiling backwards.The reel has a 5:1 ratio but it feels like you are Winding In forever, this may be to do with the feel of the handle, quite thin feels a little flimsy with the grip lost in your hand.Overall it’s a fair reel, reasonably smooth with a reasonable price, casts ok as long you are not trying to hit the next continent, you could do worst. There are options.

Handle didn't really matter to me but was a bit disappointing to not get what I chose.Reel worked ok but hard to tighten the front drag, fine reducing the drag but almost impossible to tighten. Tried to tighten to retrieve lure from a snag and something broke inside the reel, now in the bin. I can't 100% rule out operater error so not asking for a refund

You can buy shimano or abu garcia, reels for less than this, which at best is a £12 quid, reel;and even at that price it's no good: broke on the third usage, won't retrieve line, bought on impulse, before realizing I could get the two top names mentioned above cheaper.

This product is absolutely great value for money . I personally go fishing a few times every week and have had no issues with the product . Happy customer and highly recommend to anyone looking for a decent reel at a excellent value
