Yes, this was more than I've typically spent on dog apparel, BUT it's clearly well made, like maybe better than my coat if I'm being honest. Absolutely adorable, keeps the Beag nice and toasty, and makes 99% of the neighbors stop and go AWWWW - which, let's face it, is why you're looking at *this* particular dog coat and reading *this* particular review. Does she need the fur trim? Not likely. The pocket on the back that is about as useful as the front pockets in ladies pants (Spoiler alert - they're USELESS)? Maybe for a singular poop bag, or a piece of jerky...I'm not sure, I haven't tried it. IN FACT I'm not even sure it's even a functional pocket - see above - also, don't care! Paired with the CP boots, my little beagle lady was a force to be reckoned with. Read: Could make it around the block for a proper walk, in the snow without shivering and trying to escape back to the warmth of the couch.Oh, and bonus: Kept her dry despite not being truly 'waterproof' during the last snow storm we had. Refreshing when 'water resistant' doesn't secretly translate to 'jk it's a sponge.'I should also mention that she's secretly an actual potato, so with a younger, higher energy puppy, or simply a non-potato-beagle, your mileage may vary. She's a STURDY 30 lbs, all body - for her, size 18 was just right. Always appreciate an accurate sizing chart with measurements, and not just "Beagle" size.

Our recently-rescued and newest member of the family always seems cold, so I’ve been in the market for a lot of doggie clothes recently (a totally new thing for me), anyway, this is one of my favorite purchases of the many shirts and coats. People ask me where I got it. It’s soft inside and fits well. Initially I ordered a size 26 but exchanged out for a size 22 (pictured here), and the size 22 fits Lyla’s 58 pound body perfectly. Exchange was a breeze and shipping was very fast. I don’t think their sizing chart is off - I think I initially measured her incorrectly, plus there seems to be a bit of a learning curve when it comes to dressing a doggie! Haha. Anyway, the material feels very well-made and expensive, although this is a very reasonable cost for a coat of this caliber. Two functional pockets too! I can’t think of anything negative to say. I will be searching for more colors and clothing options from this brand. Thanks!

Great quality winter coat. I purchased for my Frenchie. Fits her a bit snug, but works well. It is absolutely beautiful as well.

A lot of Winter dog coats, that I've bought or seen, have insufficient body coverage. This jacket is feels like it's protecting my puppy from the very cold of the Northeast, USA. It covers his whole underside. I like that there's no zipper. I'm always afraid I'll zip up his long fur in a zipper. The velcro closure on the jacket is heavy duty! The hood is more ornamental than protection from the elements. I'm still going to have to buy him a hat. Great value and quality for the price. Definitely a great coat.

This is a great quality coat. The problem is sizing. I have a 70# lab/shepherd mix and ordered a size 26 (largest size offered) based on sizing chart and it is too small. It does not have enough girth around the chest to get the legs in. Don't use the chart...just measure your dog properly like I failed to do! Since no larger sizes are available, I will have to find something else.

This coat is awesome. We purchased the green. The hole for the tail is ideal! Super happy with this coat. Very warm. We've also purchased the raincoat in yellow for my other dog and love that. We also have the snowsuit which is amazing!! Pain in the ass to put on but well worth it. Now snow balls, keeps him dry and clean.

I have multiple jackets from this company. Great quality and my dog is very comfortable wearing these jackets.

It's a good coat, seems well made.. but sizing is off by several inches -> will be returning both items I bought.. size 26 says chest up to 36 inches.. my dog is a 33 inch chest and did not fit it, barely got it closed with some tension and one move and it popped open on him.. size 28 is not available.. otherwise good product, but disappointing that sizing is not indicated correctly.UPDATE -> as I was packing up the return, I noticed that both sizes that were sent were too small.. ordered a 26 received a 24.. so the 26 would probably be the correct fit.. but both coats I ordered arrived in the wrong size.. wth?

These Canada Pooch clothes are all really nice and well made. I have found a lot of pet clothing is really cheap and only really sell for the high prices because it's a bit of a niche bracket, but here things actually feel worth the money. I bought a size 12 for my miniature pinscher initially, but it was much too big so I had to return it and get a size 10 instead which was a much better fit. My dog feels the cold quite badly, so the thickness and warm fleece lining of this will be absolutely ideal. I also really appreciate that this has a handy hole for his harness in the back. Perfect little coat and let's be real, looks ridiculously cute as well. The pockets are even real, functional pockets! Love it!

J'ai deux petites CKC, qui aiment être dehors mais qui sont un chouia frileuses. Lors des premiers froids de ces derniers jours elles sortaient et tremblaient...La plus grande (5ans- était déjà parée avec un manteau bien chaud, mais la plus petite de 1 an avait un manteau qui était devenu trop petit pour elle (et oui ce n'est plus un tout petit bébé)...Ce manteau lui va très bien niveau taille, mais attention elle est d'un petit gabarit...Donc si votre Ckc est de la lignée de plus grand voire un peut enveloppé (aaah ce qu'ils sont gourmands), prenez la taille au dessus. Il est doublé et semble vraiment chaud, donc à prévoir pour les jours les plus froids.
