Rutherford is brilliant
Excellent read for anyone interested in Irish history, great storytelling

Enjoyable
I find I prefer Edward Rutherfurds's books when they are set in pre-history/medieval times, which most of this one was. The cast of character who form the nucleus of the saga were compelling & I enjoyed the evolution of the story through them. Something was lacking in this book compared to several others I have read, but it was enjoyable nontheless.

The Princes of Ireland
This book was disappointing in the sense that, I already have the book, unkbeknown to me it is published in the U.S. under a different title,so instead of getting a new book by Rutherford I get an old one with a different title.

"london" and "forest" are better
A bit depressing i suppose. Everyone is unhappy. No one can get what he wants and even makes it worse. The second book of dublin saga is a bit better. "london" and "forest", and even "sarum" i liked more.

In excellent condition
Read the book before, but my daughter visited Ireland and I bought this as a gift. Very good condition for a used book.

A Wonderful Saga of Old Dublin.
I bought this book because I’ve enjoyed other works by Mr. Rutherford. I wasn’t disappointed. I loved the way he developed characters and future generations of the families passed their traits down through the ages. I’m a person who enjoys historical fiction and I highly recommend this book.

superbe saga
Comme toujours les romans d'Edward Rutherfurd sont passionnants et instructifs, je l'ai dévoré et enchainé avec la suite : "the Rebels of Ireland". Belle découverte de l'histoire de cette île avec des personnages très attachants.

Expensive Mistake
Bought this book for my husband (and the follow-up Rebels of Ireland). He already has 'Dublin' and I assumed these were new books as the titles are different. Howevever this book is exactly the same as 'Dublin' so a complete waste of money. Might even be fraudulent as it has cost over $30 for nothing. Also, how can the FIRST of two books be called The Dublin Saga 2, which also mislead me into thinking it was a follow-up to 'Dublin'?
