I brought this skillet last week, and cooked both vegg and non-veg items including deep frying chicken and meat. All items gone superb. And it is enough for making curry for my 5 member family. Before buying this product I have gone through the comments, and found it is heavy. But I did not feel that is too much heavy while handling with both hands that is what the exact usage procedure of this pan/skillet. The cast iron skillets are not designed for using with single hand. So no need to consider the weight as a problem, because such heaviness is the nature and beauty of cast iron cookware’s & this heaviness make the utensil strong, sturdy and doesn’t allow the utensil to move even when stirring strong. It is perfectly seasoned and Matt finish of the item gives a professional touch my kitchen.Once again it is simply superb and I am loving it.Thank you amazon for the on time delivery.

This is my first cast iron cookwarr. I purcahsed it to replace nonstick and aluminium cookware. Initially i saw lodge cast iron also and bit confused with such huge price difference. Lodge skillet is around 4k and tjis mr buttler skillet is around 1k. I purcahsed this and used 2 times for omlete and paneer sabji. So far so good.No problem faced and it is quite good and heavy. I liked it.ProsGood heat conductivity.Pre seasonedVery heavy so heat retention is goodNo coating ,its pure cast iron.Health cooking as acidic food like tomato can also be used directly.I have not seen any bulter brand stamp on skillet like we can see in lodge.ConsEdges can be more smoothWashing is bit difficult for old people as it is quite heavy but if health is prioity, go for it.Wished to have some wooden handle or cloth cover as it become very very hot and you cannot moved ot from gas until it cool down.I purcahed this for rs 1k,but heard same is available locally on 500rs.In summary ,good to buy for healthy cooking and cheapest among online skillet.

Purchased the product knowing about the Company name and Brand.. Mr. ButlerThis product is good, but first time it was received in damage condition however immediately placed a request for collecting back and replacement which was duly honored and a new piece was delivered within days.Appreciate the service of the company and endrose for the quality of the product.Also for customers information, the Company has a good quality ,well accepted soda maker.. I received this product with a broken handle (small holding handle). I was quiet surprised how such a thick iron handle can break. It needs an immense power/pressure to break such hardened metal. Then I wondered about the quality of the iron itself that they claim pure iron.!

Need to notice few things. - product is relatively heavy to handle- need to clean it thoroughly before first use- use the instructions to season the product- Important : please do not keep food in the skillet after cooking ( coloration due to oxidization may occur)

Sometimes we get branded products in best price with good quality,but some times not, in my case Mr Butler is a well-known brand so I did my reasearch and I bought it.when the product was arrived,first of all its too heavy compared to Lodge. And ther was a coin size hole that has been patched by the manufacturer, I can say for sure it's not quality checked. I'm just mentioning only about the product that I received. Good luck to all.

The product is very good and heavy but there is no marking of brand-name either on the bottom or on the handle. How can I trust this item that it's genuine Mr. Butler without the stamping of the manufacturer?

This Product is worth a Buy, It's Sturdiness is what amazed me. Highly recommended for the ones looking for Cast Iron at a reasonable price.
