Insect Bee Hotel Bugs Wooden Shelter With Rooftop Flower Garden With 4 in 1 Pack Of Seeds… (green)

I have put the bee house on my shed, but have not seen any action yet. Unfortunately, the shallow tray that forms the roof is not producing anything. I planted the seeds as per the instructions, but nothing has grown. Hopefully there are plenty of flowers in the garden to keep the bees happy at the moment. The roof tray may need a different growing medium than compost as I wonder whether the seeds have been found by birds or have washed away. Perhaps a moss product or similar.

Hasn't made it outside yet, have been trying to get some plants started in it. The seeds that came with it grew great but very quickly got too big for the very shallow tray. I've tried a few bedding plants but I can't work out what would be happy with such a shallow root system. No luck yet so I'm going to just put it out empty. I considered turning it into a bird feeder but that would be unfair on any bugs who try to move in.

Great little item. Sowed the seed and everything was fine but the rains came and washed the seeds and dirt off the top so I’ve got to do it again. But I’ve always wanted an hotel for the bees and insects. Definitely recommend

Christmas gift. They love their garden the wildlife visitors so I'm sure this will compliment this.

Seems quite sturdy. Seeds sprouted within a few days. Looks great on my fence.
