I had been searching for that "perfect" Christmas present for an ornery older guy, who is still dealing with his wife's death. I thought this was PERFECT - not too girly or mushy, yet serious.... I am going to reluctantly go ahead & give it, but ONLY because I dont have time to find something else.The heart is thick & perfect shape, etc. It however has about 3/4 in long gash on it on the front. It also has this thick film/gunk on most of it that I still have gotten all to wipe off. The wording is not very dark/looks worn.The base came off as I 1st picked it up. It was only taped to heart w/double sided scotch tape! For the $ I expected the base no be lightweight, but it even has multiple major blemishes (1 is black), and 1 bulb I think isnt working!It does look pretty, IF you dont count ALL the major cosmetic issues. I really hoped this would be as perfect as it seemed, because finding him a present that he might truly love was important to me. Unfortunately, this is going to be a little embarrassing to give due to quality.

Item was supposed to be brand new? It came with finger prints, and what may have been sticker adhesive all over it. Very embarrassing since it was a gift.

Its cute! But its small. Wish it was bigger. Going to keep it.

In our family we love cardinals and when we see them we know an angel is near. My mom passed recently and this is memorial for her and it is so beautiful I cried just wish cardinal was larger.

Lights need to be brighter.
