Pages not numbered
Very basic info, shares bias towards the environment and no numbers on the pages? You pay for what you get. I got it quickly, that is why I gave it a 3.

Just what I needed
My grandma grew figs for decades and I'm hoping to renew the crop. Ordered two LSU purples and am preparing now to plant them outside. This little book is all I needed to feel confident moving forward.

Save your money, read a blog or an article instead
I just bought 6 fig trees in February. I was excited to learn about growing fig trees. I regret spending money on this book. It's less than 7,500 words. Less than 62 pages with a LOT of white space on every page, most have less than 120 words. Some pages are just bulleted lists with less than 75 words on the page. The last 6 pages are a list of fig varieties and a paragraph describing each - exactly like you'd find on any tree nursery's web site for free. Reading this book is like reading a wikipedia article in one sitting. Actually, wikipedia might be more informative. You'd be better off reading a couple of articles on a gardening blog for free. Not convinced? Go look at the other books written by this "author": several written in the 6 month period at the beginning of 2020. All short. Several having to do with basic gardening. I suspect this was published by someone using a pen name as part of a self-publishing business where the publisher hires a ghost writer for a few hundred bucks to pump out a generic description of the topic. Save your money, and instead go read a few blogs or articles or watch a couple of videos on figs and you will get the same info in less time and for less money. I feel like I wasted 9 bucks. Maybe I can use the paper for compost.
