Q: How cold are they rated?

They have 200 grams of Thinsulate in the floor of the boot, so for around town that is pretty toasty. That is not as warm as boots intended for standing on the ice, fishing all day, that may have 600 grams or more of Thinsulate insulation. If you are planning on just being out and about in the snow and cold, and mostly moving around outdoors then I think these boots would keep you plenty warm.

Q: The description states gray & pink. What is pink?

On the laces there is a faint pink. But otherwise it's mostly grey.

Q: I have thick calves, will this boot fit for me?

Yes, I typically wear extended calf boots and these fit well since they lace up

Q: are they true to size?

I find them to be true to size and very comfortable. I wear a 10 normally and that is what I bought!
