Celentano is an Italian brand name, known mostly in the East. It is also very hard to find anywhere outside of the East Coast. It is the best Italian brand pre-made that you can buy. Of course old fashioned hand made are the best, but who has time for that today. We love em as sides with many different meals or just by themselves with sauce.

These are not as good as homemade, assuming you make good homemade. Not all homemade are good.Thick pasta, not one raviolo broke open. Added some pecarino to a cheese sauce and they were tasty. Ricotta cheese and parsley. Simple.Will buy again and got them as BOGO free, so only $3.89 for two 2 lb bags.

I purchased this brand for the first, and last, time from my local grocery store. I made them according to the directions and they held up nicely. I added sauce and they plated easily. No falling apart or easy tearing of the pasta shell. So far so good. Put out the salad and the garlic bread and that's where dinner fell apart. They have NO taste. All you taste is the pasta shell. I even went back to check the water to see if the shells had opened and I just didn't notice. Nope. It was a good price, but for the taste I could have folded up some lasagna noodles and served that. Who cares if they hold up to the boiling prices if you doubt want to eat them when they're done cooking? The meat ones had a bit more flavor but not much. Then again any flavor would have been more than what these have. I won't be buying them again.

Off-the-boat, grandma and grandpa opened up an Italian restaurant. 2 of 8 kids still make pasta from scratch. The rest...well....Celentano is a good 2nd choice. We've been eating the large cheese ravioli for decades.PS....Italian words that end in "I" or "e"....spaghetti, ziti, ravioli, Mele, linguini ...are already plural. Don't ever say "raviolis", "zitis", "linguinis"...
