Lots of extras, great TV for price
So so happy I bought this TV. Wed been using an older Vizio, (I mean old, like 2010) that was horrible, so it'd probably not taken much to impress me. But I've had friends come over and see this new tv and were impressed saying it has better quality picture and sound than they're 500$ TVs they have. I have my mini pc connected to the back of it, got one of those little top tv shelves and it sits perfectly right on top of the tv. The tv itself, without my pc connected, doesn't hold many downloaded apps so you have to be selective which are nesseary. I like being able to switch around from my pc to just the TV, and have my Bluetooth keyboard and mouse connected for that, easy set up. Same with the wireless gaming controllers all have linked up with TV as well. Oh and I recently learned it will mirror my older kids 7 Kindle fire 9th generation, which was crazy, cuz I've researched for ever trying to figure out how to display the screen on a tv and I've always seen that it doesn't have that ability, but nope, it does with this fire TV. So that means we can play Minecraft even on the fire tv, with the wireless controller too,so cool. Now figuring all this out took me awhile to learn and tinkering around with controllers and settings, but I'm certainly no tech savvy Mama here, so I'm sure other people can figure it out too. There's just lots of little extra features when you dig around into the settings, and download app available Was also able to find a night mode with the blue light blocking in the evenings. There's a whole area of kids games too that you can play with just the remote, pretty cool, not like big graphics type games but its got the fruit ninja game which is my son and I's favorite, we're able to play the two player after figuring out my wireless controler, but just using the fire tv remote works surprisingly well. Alexa works with this TV too, huge plus for turning it on and off, the we loose the tiny little remote every other minute. For the price, not going to find anything much better for 100$. Looks though that they've up'd the price since I bought it about 2 months ago. The multiple HDMI and multiple USB connections are so helpful, and having an earthnet connection makes it meet all my needs and wants. Edit update now july 2022, controller went out totally retarded, brand new batteries doesnt hwlp, tv shuts off randomly, or resets or doesn't turn on at all, I'll have to unplug it and plug in over and over till it will work again, bummed out this kind of went crappy on us this soon

Great solution for a bedroom TV
We wanted add a TV to our bedroom cheaply and without adding another cable box. I did some research and for 99 dollars (24") this was the right price and size. I was a little worried the 720p was going to be an issue picture wise , but the picture is actually really good. I did buy a different stand, which looks like a PC monitor stand that swivels because the stand it comes with would not sit right where we wanted to install it, for another 20 bucks, but I can use that again should I upgrade the TV down the line. I liked the idea of Prime TV being pre-installed, but now I am second guessing that thought. At the same time that I bought this set, my other fire stick installed on my family room tv was coming up with a "memory full" message. keep in mind I had just ordered this TV and this was now happening, so after some research I realized this happens to a lot of people and is not really easy to overcome. So having a TV with firestick software built in is making me nervous vs just getting a smart TV and adding a 30 dollar firestick. Just something for you to consider. Last note on this topic is that you can add extra storage via a thumb drive. which will help the issue. Now on to the TV. it was super easy to set up. synced with my amazon account, and works great. I added a cheap High Def over the air antennae for 12 bucks and I am now getting another 50 channels. A few locals like 4,5 9,and a few that I don't get on cable like Laff and Decades. I would get more had the room been in the front of the house. But what struck me was that after you sync the antenna, the TV will now display the local program guide on screen and previews the channel as well on the menu. I was really impressed with that. Long story short, it's worth the 99 bucks, Once I sort out the additional storage and side load my local cable providers app it will be like having my full cable set up on a third TV.

Great little over the air tuner, TV, and monitor.
This TV is amazing for the price. Applied Chase Rewards and got it for $90, shipped. I think it's a rebrand of the Toshiba because it has identical physical I/O and construction. Multiple HDMI, Digital and Analog I/O that many of the "smart" TVs I've seen don't have. Don't know if the software is different from the Toshiba. When first powering on this "TV" it took about a 1/2 hour to upload and update it's software once it connected with my WiFi. Once that was done it works very well. Just hoping it doesn't do this every time it starts up, and I hope there's a way to disable this automatic update. This is for my travel trailer with a Winegard powered antenna, an excellent match. This TV actually finds more stations than a stand-alone over the air tuner I tried. The speakers are surprisingly load and have good range so I may not attach this to the trailer's audio system. But the TV has Spotify and so many other services available that I may use it in place of the poor quality audio system that came with the trailer. The TV was shipped in the original Insignia box which was damaged over the LCD, but the LCD appears to be fine. How shippers can throw these things around when they know they're fragile is beyond me. Just lazy I guess. Says something about the quality of Insignia packaging! Alexa is built in, but I have no interest in that, so haven't used it. Honestly this is a 4.5 star rating because nothing's perfect.

So much for so little
Let me start with the fact that I am a huge electronics nerd and have pretty high expectations but I also do my research to make sure I get what I want/need for the price point that I feel is acceptable. I wanted a small TV for the bedroom of our 30ft travel trailer. It needed to be small and lightweight and inexpensive. Those were the only requirements. It had been a while since I looked at TV and did not remember anything below 32" having smart capabilities. I was expecting to have to buy a stick or swap the other one back and forth. This TV really impressed me for $100. It weighs barely anything and is suitable to mount in the corner on the outside wall. The picture quality is quite good, vibrant and sharp and bright. I was expecting a slow and dumb smart experience, however the system is pretty responsive and feature packed for price. At this price you'd expect some major trade offs between the smart capabilities and the TV itself. The wifi is pretty strong, it has bluetooth which I was not expecting. O can't believe it even has a built in tuner and 3 HDMI ports. I could go on, but in short I'm just really astonished that so much is provided for such a low price. We will probably consider these if the kids ever get a TV for their rooms.

Great option for student housing
I bought this for my college apartment and have loved it so much. It’s the perfect size for my small room, is really easy to setup and use, and has all of the features I was looking for! It’s a great tv for the price, and has great picture and sound quality. The screen does cut off after a few minutes of not playing something, but that doesn’t bother me! I’m not super picky about those things so some people may have different opinions but I love mine! It also shipped so fast! Just an FYI, it comes in very clear packaging, so be careful if you’re ordering it as a gift! But, I highly recommend it!

Best TV ever....to make you wish you bought any other TV.
"Are you looking for the worst 'Smart' TV money can buy?! You're in luck! This piece of trash is available now! The benefits really kick in when you buy 2 (or more!)." Seriously though, if you have two of these in your house they'll both turn on when you turn on the first via remote. There's no workaround for this. I contacted support and was basically told that's just how it is. Because nobody these days would have TWO tvs in one home right? Unheard of. Back to the pitch... "Now you may be saying, 'Chip my TV doesn't stall out, lag through the menu or have an interface that makes me want to smash my head into the corner of my fireplace!'....We'll dear customer we've fixed that! You know how most TVs have a menu that just overlays what you're currently watching so you can make adjustments on the fly? Not here chum! You have to cancel out of what you're watching, go back to the home screen, seek out a dedicated settings menu that's not available through the remote, make any adjustment you might want and THEN pick up where you left off in your program. Now that's convenience! Bugs? We've got em in spades! A few months into owning this fine product a pop up will remind you that the storage is full and you need to delete apps. It'll only pop up every 120 seconds. After you delete EVERY APP ON THE DEVICE clearing the storage completely, guess what?! It's still gonna pop up. Prompting you to have to factory reset the TV and punch in all your settings on the on screen keyboard everyone loves!" How this product made it through user trials I'll never know. I'd guess that it's just another case of Amazon rushing out product to fill a gap in the market. It's also not compatible with competitor based apps (Google Play, Apple). They have to have FireOS compatibility (like the Fire Tablet, also trash). Don't buy this, trust me. You'll never see this review though. I'm writing it on Amazon! Lots of "bury this review" keywords strewn throughout. To obscurity I go! Edit: I think the tv knows that I was talking sh** about it. It now turns on by itself whenever it wants and plays EXTREMELY LOUD COMMERCIALS that Amazon gets paid to pipe into my daily existence, regardless of the time of day/night. I get that it's common practice (still obnoxious) now to compress commercial audio into an audio brick and to have products shouted at you but these are seriously 2 -3 times as loud as the volume is set for. So now I have to unplug it at night or when I'm not here. SERIOUSLY, DO NOT BUY THIS TV. When you buy a Fire tab, tv, stick etc Amazon has an avenue through which they can toss ads at you, collect your viewing history, passively listen to you and whatever else they can do to generate more cash from you. I get how they made billions now. They never stop using you to generate cash. Kinda brilliant, really creepy.
