Q: Will it whiten my now yellowed white sweater?

It didn’t do anything different to my shirt. I don’t know if the product was just a bad bottle or what. I have used a powder form on the past and it worked beautifully. This was the first time using liquid and I felt it didn’t work at all.

Q: Will this product take out color in a polyester shirt? I want to redye it but need to take out the original color first

I am unaware of the effects of this product on synthetics. My suggestion would be to follow Rit Dye More product recommendation. Reach out to their customer service for assistance.

Q: Does the whitener and brightener work on white laundry

Depends on the fabric and what kind of thread was used. I took the color out of a 100% cotton quilt, but the thread must be synthetic because it still showed.

Q: Will this work on lightening my jeans?

I have not used it for this purpose but Rii dye tend tends to be an extremely good product when used as directed
