Cons - Where do I begin...1) I understand there will be some limitations to the accuracy of a map. But the gross inaccuracy and complete ignorance to the integrity of the world map is shocking. Central America is missing. The lower half of Europe and the Mediterranean region is missing. SouthEast Asia and the MiddleEast Are a mess with how things are clubbed, Koreas are missing etc. etc. Islands like Madagascar, Sri Lanka etc. aren't even painted on...2) Clubbing together of countries is also unnecessary. One of the reasons I went for this kind of a puzzle as opposed to a conventional jigsaw is that the shape of the country There are barely 20 pieces here with the groupings partly unnecessary. E.g. surely USA & Mexico could be separate pieces? The whole of South America is just 2 pieces. Others like Japan, NZ, the UK are just painted on where they're large enough to have been distinct pieces. I don't expect 50 pieces for Africa but 4 is a bit too few...It's an unnecessary complication and difficult to have to explain to a kid why 2 maps (one a poster on the wall) are so different and that these are inaccuracies. And at a price point which is this expensive it's even worse.Pros - it's sturdy and looks long lasting enough. And nothing too pointy or dangerous which might hurt a kid.I suppose it's ok if your kids are really small and too orient them with the general map of the world. But for anyone older than 3 or so I'd say look for something else - why bother teaching kids something inaccurate when you're buying a product this expensive.Note : The plastic cover also started to peel off within a week. And the board had a crack when it came in as well, though nothing to affect the puzzle as such. (see images)
