I have two designer ceiling lights with several candelabra sockets that were burned out (using a 40W bulb on a 25W socket). It would cost me at least $80 to replace and under the current supply-chain shortage, it was very hard to find the same similar light fixture. I was struggling to find the right sockets and hoped this item from Amazon would be the right one. I was really surprise to see, after receiving the sockets and opened the light fixture, that these were exact model and size used by the manufacture (except the color). The whole socket replacement took me less than 30 min. The new sockets are rated 75W so they could also last much longer. Apparently many light fixtures made in China use the same or similar parts so I guess this could also fit many other ceiling light models. I felt really good about being able to do the repair and contribute preserving the environment by not adding something to the landfill.

Had a brass ceiling fixture blow out - a wire overheated. Replacements available are lower quality and not quite the same design. Bought these to try replacing the guts of the fixture. Worked. Only difficulties were 1) had to strip more wire at ends to make the connections 2) For my fixture I needed an pigtail. Was able to salvage long enough one from the old wiring.Needed the pigtail as the leads on the new sockets were not long enough to feed through the base on the fixture. A common problem so you might want to buy a foot of lamp wire at Lowes/THD/etc before beginning the repair.Final note - the socket set was $10.99 while a new fixture would have been $61 - definitely a win!

They're lamp sockets, they did what they were supposed to do.... at least met my expectations. There are 4 pieces + a little cap that I could not gauge the function. It wasn't that hard to figure out the assembly, but there were no instructions at all. Beaware of assembling a socket fully before you're ready (like before you make wiring connections); there's a locking function that is not easy to undo, and no guidance for undoing. They actually turned out to be too large (diameter) for the shade I needed to install & the installation (thread into nipple) did not easily match up with the lamp I was repairing, so I ended up using something else. They did work when tested and appeared to be reasonably well constructed.

A attractive ceiling fixture had virtually stopped working. Heat from bulbs over the years had damaged 3 of the 4 sockets in the fixture so that bulbs screwed into them would no longer light. Thanks to this replacement, I was able to remove the broken sockets and replace them with these. They fit perfectly in the existing holes in the fixture and the rings hold them in place. I am pleased that it now works and looks as good as new!

Pack-rat that I am, I saved a nice hall light from another house we lived in 20+ years ago after having replaced it because of a bad socket. After remodeling a current hallway, I decided to dig this out and hunt for a socket. This product was identical to the bad socket and was well priced. Since you get six, I replaced all three and have three spares. I am 100% happy with my purchase.

Remodelled some rv sconces and they worked great. Product is good
