I really like these brushes.. there's a brush for everything in this kit.. super soft and apply product really well.. super affordable for the amount of brushes you get and for the quality of them.. these are great!!

Such a great price for so many Moda brushes. Love this set!! these brushes are my favorite because it is so easy to grab them with the textured handles.

I really like the variety of brushes in this set, and the case is nice for keeping everything tidy. The case is not super lux but it does the job. Each brush has it's name at the top e.g. "sculpt BMX-245", so you have a little guidance as far as what it can be used for without having to refer back to anything. The design of the handle is really nice, has a good grip and it's pretty sexy looking. Reminds me of gaga's beauty brand haus lab. I like the fan brush for highlighter so I was pleased to have one in the set. I really like using the sculpt brush to stipple on liquid foundation so it blends out nicely. Overall this is a pretty good set if you need a good gift for a newbie makeup maven. I personally have a few other sets I think are softer and more expensive feeling but this ranks pretty high for a good middle of the road collection.

I’ve been a fan of Moda brushes since I first tried them years ago. I got a couple of the Moda Pro Brushes in my Boxy Charm one month and really enjoyed them, so when I saw the entire set in here I had to grab them!When they arrive, they come in the roll out pouch, which is in plastic. Once you remove the outer plastic packaging and take out the roll out pouch and unroll it, all the brushes are inside. They are all individually wrapped in plastic inside the roll out pouch, and the bigger brushes have a thick plastic covering over the tops to keep the shape. I did have one brush that was a little out of shape when I took the coverings off, but it went back to the appropriate form after I washed it and it dried.They come in a beautiful roll out travel pouch. I’m not sure the material it’s made out of, but it feels nice and like it wouldn’t easily get dirty. There is enough room for every brush. I love that it has magnetic snaps for closure, rather than having to tie the roll out pouch closed.The set comes with 25 face and eye brushes 😱 Literally every brush you’d need! Moda brushes are always great quality in my opinion, but the Pro set is one of their best! I love how the brushes aren’t too heavy, but aren’t too light. The handles have kind of a grip to them, and I think they look so sleek! I also like that the handles aren’t too long, but aren’t too short either. The handles are labeled for each brush. For example, it will say “BMX-265 Glow” or “BMX-466 Shade.” So, you can refer to that if you want to know exactly what the brush is used for without having to refer to some booklet that lists them. Although, I always use brushes for whatever the size and shape will work well doing for me. But, it is nice to know the specific purpose of a brush. And someone newer to makeup might also find that helpful.The hairs are so soft. None of the brushes felt pokey or sharp. When I washed the brushes, I didn’t see any hairs fall out, and I washed the entire set before using them and I’ve washed a handful of the brushes that I’ve used a few times without any shedding. The hairs are black with white tips. I like that because I can see the product on the brush so I see how much is picked up, but they’re also easier to clean. I like my brushes to go back to looking good as new after I wash them. With all white hairs, that’s a lot harder! But these clean very easily and go right back to looking good as new again!Getting 25 brushes, you get a great variety...pretty much any brush you can think of! EXCEPT, to my AMAZEMENT, SURPRISE, and SATISFACTION....You do NOT get the flat foundation brush, you know the flat, kind of paddle, foundation brush that pretty much any set of makeup brushes that includes face brushes seems to ALWAYS include, that brush that takes up space that another, actually useful brush could use. In my opinion, those stupid flat foundation brushes are just pointless. I never see anyone actually use them. The only time I’ve seen or hear about someone using them is usually to apply face masks with. Even if you do have some sort of use for one, one is pretty much all you’d need. But for some reasons, makeup brush sets always seems to include one of those useless things. So, whenever a set does NOT include one, I’m SHOCKED, AMAZED, and SO HAPPY!! And I’m happy to say this set does NOT come with one of those useless flat foundation brushes! It has the useful buffer brush and the useful blend brush! And so many other useful brushes! There’s a great mix of face and eye brushes.This is such a large set, with such a great assortment of eye and face brushes, brushes that are quality made, and brushes that perform well, so I’d say this would be a great set for anyone starting out and needing brushes, anyone who doesn’t have a good assortment of brushes, anyone who doesn’t have a good amount of quality made brushes that perform well, anyone that just loves great brushes, etc. I definitely recommend this brush set!! The price ($79.99 at the time of writing this) may seem like a lot at first. But, when you think about it...you get 25 brushes, they are made well, and perform well, so it’s a good price for so many quality brushes. If you were to try and buy 25 quality brushes similar to the assortment you get with this set, you’d probably spend just as much, if not more!

I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I ordered these MODA brushes. I have had some terrible brushes in the past.Please note that I’m not a makeup artist, and I don’t even wear a whole lot of makeup all the time. I would consider myself a novice really. I don’t have extremely expensive, high end brushes to compare to. When I ordered this, I already had a set of brushes that I really liked that were an insanely good price. Those are what I will be comparing these to.That being said, I love this set of brushes!What I like-Color- It’s like this set was made for me. I love the semi-shiny black metal/plastic? with an almost matte black handle. The hint of white at the brush tips and small white text is a nice contrast.Variety/Quantity- 25 different brushes varying in shape and size!? Do I need this many? I’m not sure, but I love them and I’ll find a way to use them all.Materials- The individual bristles are very fine and together form an incredibly soft brush. I’m impressed and they feel so nice on my skin, particularly the larger and fluffier brushes. The material holding the bristles in place is either metal or a very nice hard plastic, but I think metal? Anyway it feels strong. I seriously love the “silk-touch” material used for the handle as they call it on the website. It looks nice and feels soft and smooth, but with a good grip. The handle is embossed with a diamond pattern which helps with grip too. The brushes are very comfortable to hold and use.Quality-Everything seems to be high quality. All the bristles are intact and feel strongly anchored in place. There is the occasional single stray hair that appears to be a different length than the rest but who cares. There are no loose pieces on the brush. (I’ve had a brush break at the “seams” before where the metal and handle connect) I don’t feel like that is going to happen with these. Even the text is printed on nicely and I don’t feel like it will wear away over time- at least not easily. I tried scratching hard with my nails repeatedly and nothing came off.Labels- I absolutely love that the brushes are labeled with names and numbers that kind of indicate what they are intended to be used for. This is awesome for a novice like me!Storage Bag- I’m very happy it came with a storage pouch. It has magnetic closure and rolls out flat. Then there is a thin flap inside covering the bristles I guess so they don’t touch each other as much once rolled up. It’s not some really fancy pouch, but I think it is nice and it gets the job done. It is like a satin black with slight crosshatch embossing as if they are trying to mimic saffiano leather. There is purple stitching throughout. The materials aren’t very thick but they don’t seem excessively thin. There is a silver MODA emblem on the front.There is nothing I really dislike about this set. On the amazon listing, the company provides a nice chart that lists and pictures all the brushes, their names, and a little detailed description of how each brush can be used. One suggestion is that I think it would be nice to have that chart printed on the back of the cardboard paper that comes in the set. I would love to have that reference on hand.The only other comments I can make is the comparison to the set I already have. I have a 15 set piece that I ordered off Amazon from a different brand. The set is CHEAP, but legitimately NICE and high quality! Like I was shocked when I ordered it. It was seriously $8.99 for 15 pieces. The price difference is HUGE and the quality is not much different if not about the same. The style is different (I love the colors of it but I do prefer the black color style of this set) and it doesn’t have a case, but in my mind I don’t think I would pay over 5x as much per brush for these just because I like the look and style of them better.Anyway I just thought I would mention that. I’m sure these brushes at $79.99 are considered very affordable compared to very high end brushes but I have just never cared to spend that much money on make up or brushes. I would still recommend this for anyone who is fine with the price because the set is excellent!! I like it so much that I really can’t justify taking any stars off my rating, but at the end of the day the set I already had was a much better value.
