I just received these universal joints, and haven’t actually used them yet, but my visual impression is very good. Sockets and ratchets fit tight, and the swivel is smooth. I’m not understanding the reviews that state they look flimsy, or look like they could easily break, as I don’t see it. Not sure I would use an impact with them, but I doubt it’s wise to use an impact with any standard chrome non-impact universal joint? They look plenty sturdy for their proper and intended use, but time will tell once I put a few miles on them. I also like how they don’t flop around like standard universal joints, and the socket rail/holder is very nice too!

I use this for taking oil filters and it works great. Good swivel and it looks and feels quality.my impact are very expensive so I got this set and it's a bargain. You won't be disappointed

I have had swivels from craftsman, Mac tools and snap on, these easily outperform them all. Great deal

The product does the job but it feels too flimsy and feels like it could break. I personally haven’t had one break yet but it feels like it will if I’m not careful.

My review is in reference to the CHROME Olsa universal's. These are hands down, the smoothest, highest angle and shortest universals on the planet. Even when maxed out on angle, they still spin freely. They won't take as much torque as the impact rated tool truck brands. They're not really made for that. Admittedly, I do use them with my "red" electric 3/8 and 1/4 impact guns. No issues yet. I can't emphasize enough the smoothness of these while at extreme angles. These are a MUST for motor mounts on 5.3's. I'm a 20+ year mechanic. I own all of the tool truck brands as well. These simply serve a purpose and do it the best. No idea on Olsa's other tools.

I haven't tried these in anger yet, but overall they look great for the home handy person. I gave them 4 stars for durability and sturdiness based on the design probably not being up to heavy duty tasks. For for general home use these are great.

My husband added this to the cart, so I bought it. He said oh you didn’t have to get those for me. He has been using them everyday at work! Said they are awesome and great for those hard to reach places.
