Nice sleeping pad cover.
My family and I do a lot of camping throughout the year. We recently purchased new sleeping pads because my boyfriend and I have different preferences on firmness and the one we were both using was no longer working out, but we still wanted to be able to snuggle. Straps to hold pads together or sleep systems for partners tend to be pretty pricey, so I researched bags instead and found this. It works perfectly. Both of our full sized sleeping pads fit inside this cover with ease and it hold the pads close together throughout the night. This has also come in handy in the warmer weather to cut down on sheets that we typically take with us which can bunch and move and we eventually wind up sleeping directly on the hot pad. It's machine washable and soft to the touch. I highly recommend this for people like us who want to stay close together on their camping trips.

Great liner, backs down super small
Wonderful sleeping bag liner. Opens up a bit at the top to make it easier to get in/out/adjust. Not sure why so many complain about getting into these, just put it at your feet and pull it up to get in. The whole thing easily packs back into the bag it comes with, just fold the sheet four times on the narrow side and roll it up length-wise. Entire thing packs down to about the size of a Dinty Moore Beef Stew can. (so slightly wider than a normal soup can but just as tall).I'm 6'2", 200lbs and the 87x36 size is plenty big.

Avoid the cotton!
I have many liners. In central Florida you really don't need a full fledged sleeping bag so liners are lite, compact, and comfy. I have both the xl and mammoth polyester liners and they're by far my favorite. I bought a cotton version of the xl and was so dissatisfied with the material. It's rough like sandpaper, and after 30 wash cycles it's still rough feeling and it shrunk alot. I literally threw it in the garbage. Stay with the polyester and you won't be disappointed.

Well built liner that adds extra warmth or can act as a stand alone cover layer
For years I have gone camping with sleeping bags and sometimes accompanying liners that promise to keep you warm at 20 deg F or 0 deg F, only to find I am still cold and miserable at 40 deg F. And if my sleep is ruined, then so is my trip.I finally decided to do some research and came across the Deer Hunter sleeping bags offered by Teton Sports which carry a -35 deg F survival rating, and which I have tested myself down to -20 deg F. In addition, I wanted one or two liners both for my future trip to Alaska and also as an aid, if I want to sleep with the Deer Hunter more open and just use a liner. (say, on an early fall night here in Central CA, when the temps only drop to 55 deg F) I decided to order one synthetic liner from Teton and also this model, their cotton bag liner.Typically, a synthetic liner will give you an extra 10 deg F or so, of warmth. So that a bag with a comfort rating of 40 deg F and a survival rating of 15 deg F can now be used in comfort on a 30 deg F night or for survival on a 5 deg F night. A cotton liner is just a tad bit warmer and instead of 10 deg F more protection, offers typically about 12 to 15 deg F more warmth. And that is exactly what I found with this liner.I have now used this Teton cotton liner on three occasions here in California during the summer and early fall and found it is great to pair with my Deer Hunter bag when I do not want the top of the bag to cover me. (I always sleep with a lightweight cot that keeps me about eight inches off the ground and with a closed cell foam sleeping pad on top of the cot and under my bag) This liner hits that sweet spot on evenings when the temps drop to about 65 to 55 deg F and you want something light. And I am sure this will give me an extra layer of warmth if I get up to Alaska. I also like the construction of the liner, the drawstring and the included carrying bag. The cotton used seems to be a good weave and so far, I have not had problems with it holding in sweat. When you combine those positives with a reasonable price of $29, then in my book you have a five star item. Happy customer so far.

It's just okay... Side slits are too SHORT!
This liner is a nice idea, both for a little extra warmth if you need it and also to keep your sleeping bag cleaner. The only thing we DIDN'T like are the side slits. They are way too short and it's a real struggle to get into it easily, especially if you're a larger person. I don't know if the makers of Teton ever read these reviews, but if they do, I would like to make a suggestion. It would be absolutely wonderful if you would use a small gauge nylon ZIPPER on the sides of the liner at least 3/4 of the way down the sides of the liners. Now THAT would be a Godsend! Please consider it. The extra cost would be well worth the happiness and ease it would bring to your customers. One more thing that would make this liner more comfortable would be to have some Velcro tabs or snaps on the liner AND the sleeping bag along the sides to keep the liner in place without it bunching up when you turn inside the bag.

Don't know why I put off buying a sleeping bag liner? Pack to size of pop can and very light...
Watching RTW travellers on YouTube the concept of a bag liner came up over and over again. Certainly to protect and prolong your main bag between cleanings, but equally important as an alternate set of sheets for the overnighters where you may not want to expose yourself or your sleeping bag to a sketchy sleeping quarters. Looking forward to using mine inside a Sierra Design sleeping bag for a couple weeks of off grid riding/camping. This is my first Teton purchase, I suspect it will not be my last. … it’s been a few camping trips later. This product has proven invaluable to a great nights sleep outdoors. I use it all the time. Typically after setting up camp I will lay in it or on it when first going to bed. It’s great to break the chill and give you time to cool off if you’ve managed to climb in for the night and happen to be sweaty. Once ‘dry’ I will slip inside just this for a time, leaving sleeping system rolled out underneath. Then as it gets cold I will slide inside my bag with this being left on as intended. It is great at keeping heat against your body, it helps prevent lost heat due to the bellows effect of moving around inside sleeping bag. In mornings I take it out and lay it in the sun while making breakfast, it dries quickly and packs down small. Highly recommended. Still not showing any wear after several washes, maybe some loose threads by Velcro tabs, but still as good as new.

Great compact liner, but not good for cold weather.
This liner is compact and easy to use, but I should have done more research before I bought it. I just went on a trip to the Yukon and cotton is a no go for cold weather. It did not help warm me when we got to 0. I got the liner to supplement my sleeping bag which was not warm enough for the weather without a liner added, but this liner was not warm enough for it. Otherwise though, it is a great liner. If you’re camping somewhere hot it would be great to have.
