Ransom: Bodyguard, Book 2

book 2
Fast paced just like the first book. A much different tempo compared to the Young Samurai series. The bodyguard series makes for a good read in between longer books since it's quick and offers suspense, but I do yearn for the depth that Young Samurai had with it's main character and all his friends. I still feel like I barely know any of the supporting characters and it's book 2. I guess this series really is only about the main character since he's off on his own all the time, but yeah good read.

Amazing.
This book was definitely one of my favorites, it was like a breath of fresh air after reading all that cliche teenage kinda stuff, defiantly worth my time!!! I recommend this book to all ages.Fast paced, constant action, but still holding that James bond kinda feel, it was AMAZING :D if your a fan of Alex Rider or Cherub, then what are you waiting for? Can't wait for book three!!!

Conner should look after the wild one!
personally I think that Conner should be looking after the wild/rebellious/spoilt principle as it would be interesting to see how he would cope with it(I would also like to see him doing a James bond thing where he hooks up with his principle and gets in to trouble because of it!) plus lets see him get a mission with Jason it'd be funny to see them struggle to work together!!

Good book
Bodyguard: Ransom was similar to book one in the series. It kept the same idea where you have a principle and a buddyguard and there is a threat to the principle and the buddyguard has to protect his principle. Though this book adds the aspect of maritime security and protection. Overall this was a great read and I am awaiting the next book in the series.

This book is really well written and very hooking I couldn't stop reading however this was bitter sweet as I finished the book in one go.i would wish that the book was longer but I am a fast reader so I don't really mind.

Another winner
I know these are supposed to be YA books but this adult really enjoys them. Bradford knows how to put together a plot and make his novels authentic and his heroes are never so superhuman that they drive you into disbelief. I am looking forward to reading number 3 now.

He's done it again!
It's hard to believe one man can write a book so action packed and great as the first one!Chris Bradford has never failed to thrill us with his books and I for one will wait at the edge of my seat for the next book.Lot's of luck and love from South Africa Chris!

Another excellent book in this series
I found the first book in this series quite by accident and decided to take a chance. Having thoroughly enjoyed the first book, I downloaded the second and enjoyed it just as much as the second, speeding through it less than 24 hours. I am definitely not the target audience for this book, but hey, what does that matter, if you enjoy a book it doesn't matter how old you are!If you can imagine a teenage Bond you are only half way there, these books are excitement and action all the way. The gadgets are excellent too! What I particularly like is that the author still writes the lead as a teenager, he doesn't try and make him too experienced for his years which is part of the appeal I think.Anyway, another great book and I look forward to reading the 3rd installment.

Fast-paced fun - typical Chris Bradford!
We've been waiting impatiently for the second Connor Reeves book and we were not disappointed. Again, the charm of the teenage 'buddyguard' concept was powerful and between the stroppy privileged clients and the scary Somali pirates there was plenty of drama and excitement to be experienced. Just enough technical detail to be informative and credible, and plenty of plot to keep the hero busy. It had to be read in one sitting - definitely a page turner and one I will be recommending to teen readers at my school. Looking forward to episode 3!
