As advertised. I’m impressed.
Great little product. I liked it so much, I bought 2 more for gifts. One for my son to take to college. It came as advertised. It charged my iPad pretty good. It’s small and easily stored. We lose power often and my lantern uses a lot of expensive D batteries, so I was looking for something using solar/rechargeable and this fits my needs. The light on the device is very bright, so much so don’t turn it on while looking directly at it. The hanging lights are also bright and light up my living room. I sure don’t understand the low reviews because it won’t support their refrigerator or something, wow, read the description, it’s not their fault. It’s for phones, tablets and has lights. I hope it can charge a laptop, I haven’t tried that yet.

Great bang for the buck
All 3 plug in lights work perfectly, very bright, also love that they have a on / off switch . The flood light that is mounted on the actual body of the generator is great as well, lights up my whole backyard . Great product , gives you piece of mind while out camping or if the power goes out . Also the solar panel is great , works as should and seems to be well made .

good construction, light weight, good price
I just got it unboxed and am surprised how well it is made. The solar panel is solid the unit itself is light weight/compact and easy to use. The light is bright! So far so good! Only complaint would be the hanging lights are a bit to delicate for any heavy use. I think their fine for stationary use. I'd just use the units built-in light if your doing anything which would put the other lights themselves under stress.

let their be light
I purchased several of these units to ship to Haiti. They work well provide light and can charge cell phones and other electronic devices. This is indispensable when u have no power and left in the dark. Charges in several hours using the solar panels and if u do have house power u can plug it in for a quicker charge. This device is a life saver !

Don't believe the fake reviews - this is a real review
This thing is garbage... lets start from the beginning and the fake claim that it's 84Wh... LOL! First clue that it's not 84Wh is how light it is -- it's weighs about as much as a 4-pack of AA batteries. For it to be 84Wh, it would need to be about 12x the weight, there is NO battery technology that exists that would account for the light weight of the unit. Also, when I say 4-pack of AA batteries, that includes the cheap garbage plastic container, in all likelihood this has 2 cells in it, and these garbage Chinese cells it has are likely around 1Wh each, meaning you'd have about 2Wh of capacity, about the same as a single high quality AA rechargeable battery. Maybe it's slightly more, like 2.5Wh, but it's nowhere close to the laughable claim of 84Wh.BUT, how do I know that... well, I charged this fully, then used it to charge a 10Wh battery pack that was half-full. I left it for a few hours, I come back, this thing is completely dead and my battery pack went from 2 bars, to 3 bars... So, yeah, somewhere in the 2Wh range.Still, take away their BS advertising claim about the size, a 2-2.5Wh battery would be enough to charge your phone, most likely close to full, so it would still be useful in a storm. Also, you could legit run the lights probably all night, so again, that is useful... IF you could recharge it....except it doesn't recharge, it doesn't do anything. I completely ran the system down and then left the solar panel in the FL sun all day -- with the unit itself covered in the shade out of the heat and sun since the garbage unit says not to leave it in the sun or rain (so how you charge it, if its not to be in the sun, with a short cable, beats me). So after sitting all day, I check it around 3pm, and it has... ZERO charge. ZERO. I checked the cables, I turned it off and on, I rechecked the cable, I place it for another 30 mins or so -- nothing. The unit doesn't charge in the sun at all.If you're betting your life, or even comfort, on this piece of trash, you're in for some real trouble. At the very least if you but this garbage, unlike the other "reviewers" here, actually check the solar panel to see if it's charging anything. Even if it does work, I'd fully expect this to break very quickly, in particular when they say you can't leave it in the sun and they only give you maybe a 6ft cable - and it's not rain proof either.This thing is garbage, do not buy it. They lie about the specs, it's incredibly poorly made, and even if you're "lucky" enough to get one that works, it's going to break very quickly.

Holds a decent charge
I was going to wait until I had to use the solar panels to review this product but I just haven't had the need yet. So I'm anxious to find out how efficient they are. From using it through several charging cycles here's what I found:Pros: Light weight, very simplistic, charges phones pretty well, holds a decent charge for the size/weight, LED lights are bright, switches on each light and long wires, USB port, built in LED with 2 brightness settingsCons: Unique power cord and plug so you can't use the solar panels for anything else nor charge the battery with any other cord, only 1 USB port, Charge indicator lights don't tell you much at all, Nearly full or nearly empty is about as good as it gets with no sign of when the battery is fully charged (it just keeps blinking the entire time), the weight tells me this could be a lot smaller and I'm about ready to dismantle it and make my own smaller shellOverall: For the price - good deal, great backup for any power outage situation or if there's simply not a plug/light nearby but plan for an entire day to charge it up and plan to just use the lights if you need it to last a while
