Four Guys in a Boat

I bought this to read poolside on vacation. It was the perfect choice. It was a cute story that was easy to follow. I loved the detailed description of where the stories happened. I am a PNW girl and all the places described are places and references I know well. The descriptions of sailboating was intriguing. At times I felt like I was there with the men on the boat!

My dad, friends and I met these men when we returned from a sailing trip. They had sailed on the boat my dad now owns and we had been out sailing. They were so fun to chat with. They mentioned a book. I had to get it and I am glad I did!!!I love how it is written and having spent time in the San Juans growing up I know the places they are talking about. A pure joy to read! Even more fun having met these fun sailors! Even if I had not met them or sailed myself this book is an adventurous comedy that asks what matters most. Read it, love it and go live it!!!

This book is charming, fun, and good for a laugh—or several! At one point I laughed so hard it brought tears to my eyes. This is a good book. Now that I have finished it, I look back on it with fondness, kind of sad it’s over, like I would at the end of a good vacation.

If you could only take one book on vacation. This is the one. Enjoy it as much as I did

Fun little book about four guys' sailing escapades in and around the San Juan Islands. All four of them are characters, especially the King of Norway, and the author does a good job bringing out their personalities, as well as the personalities of the places they visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed the story of these four funny guys, and the writing was delightful.

The camaraderie of these men, their adventures on the water, and their antics off it make for an entertaining read.
