Over engineered yet insufficient garbage. There isn't much to a garlic press but this one really tried to reinvent the wheel. The reason people might want to buy this Is because they might be led to believe it's easier to clean as you can flip that metal mesh up. Wrong this garlic press had so many nooks and crannies that I started not using it anymore as I was thinking of the cleanup. My wife however had no such reservations and kept on using it which led to the handle breaking. I am not surprised to be honest as it is obvious that this is the weak spot. Just buy a metal one any metal one they all more or less the same if you can get one made of stainless steel maybe the handle won't break. The handle send to be the weak spot on all of them regardless of mm material.

Was impressed initially until it came to cleaning it. It's awful to keep clear, but even more disturbing is its so badly engineered. The hammer press that pushes the garlic through the blades becomes disjointed and the plastic hinge of the press snaps rendering the device useless. Used only 4x times before it broke. Wouldn't buy again nor recommend. Save your money, pay a couple pounds more and buy a metal one.

I have used all kinds of garlic processors as I like my garlic prepared in different ways for different dishes. I hate choppers, wheels, crushers, squeezers, splatters and decimators. I even use my pestle and mortar when I want a purée (tip: always do this with a large pinch of salt, no really it makes it easier to purée and get to that creamy consistency). This is a revelation I had not seen before! It crushes bery effectively but it also slices quickly and brilliantly. Keeps my fingers safe as those pesky little garlic cloves slide all over the place trying to avoid my (sharp) knife!!!

This is so good! I was a bit hesitant at cost but it’s so easy to use; effort I used to put into my old metal press less than 3/4. It will last such a long time as quality material you can tell. I’m really happy with this item. Used it tonight for first time making a chicken tikka Massala in the slow cooker and was a pleasure not a chore to use this to crush the garlic needed.!

The plastic cracked - only used 3 times to press garlic. I thought at this price it would be sturdier. It's no easier to clean than any other garlic press. I wish I'd read the reviews more carefully - other buyers have had exactly the same problem. What a waste of money.

Thought as this was more expensive than some of the other available models it would be good quality- unfortunately not. The garlic slicer cracked a little over a week after receiving it, which means it now cannot slice garlic properly. The crusher still works but is quite difficult to clean and lots of residual garlic gets stuck in there. Not impressed.

Nice and sturdy, slices well as well as crushing.Helpful note when cleaning - the crusher steel section lifts up so you can clean easily between the crusher and the green holder where some garlic can get caught.Recommended

Really good product that has speeded up prep times for me. Easy to use, even though my hands aren't specially strong, and easy to clean with a washing up brush.
