Had to watch a you tube video to understand the concept but afterwards I was tying my own hooks pretty quickly. Only downside is the vice side is smooth and if you pull too hard the hook will come out before loosening the vice.

Once you get past the learning curve this Matchman style tyer makes a nice knot. But only 4 stars as it didn't come with instructions. I had to find them online.

Takes a bit to figure out . But one you get it works well
