I have the Ryobi C430 purchased in the spring of 2017. It worked well until I used some old gas in it and one day in the spring of 2022 it refused to start. I purchased the fuel line kit and primer bulb replacement from home depot in hopes that it would fix the issue, but it didn't. I found this carb and mixed reviews about it fitting or not fitting the C430. I tried it, and am satisfied with the carb itself. As for the fuel lines and spark plug, they will not fit the C430, or would be too hard to run without the kit from home depot. If you need new fuel lines, get the kit from home depot, and same with the spark plug. If you need a new carb, this should do the trick!

OK got the carburetor in and it looked great.The throttle cable connector is a little different from the original. here's my suggestion take the old carburetor off, put a new gasket towards the motor and slide your carburetor on. take your finger and plastic throttle that is spring loaded, turn it counter clockwise and the existing cable has a different end but it will fit in a hole in the new carburetor, turn plactic throttle all the way to the left and then put in your cable and it will work perfectly.on my gas tank I just had two holes in the top, I did not use the rubber plug that they sent with it I took the new lines out of rubber plug, my old filter and lines out of the tank and installed the new lines and filter.Put gas in the tank, pump the primer ball a few times until I could see gas in the bulb, set the choke on full, pulled the rope a few times and it hit,turned choke off, pulled couple more times and it startedLove it love it love it, runs full throttle and even the motor case is cooler I guess now it's getting the proper gas flow. I hope this helps give me a thumbs up if it did.

Carburetor works great but supplied fuel lines where too short to reach tank on my C430 trimmer. If they would send 1 foot each of fuel and return lines it would work out great. Carb runs great, old one wouldn't rev up and bogged down at throttle. Tried to clean old one but for the price I just got a new one instead of a carb rebuild kit for almost the same amount. Had to modify throttle cable slightly to make it work.

Very easy to install, took me 5 minutes and it solved the problem of being out of power when full throttle

Carburetor fit fine, spark plug to large, return fuel line was to short. Extra primer bulbs nice to have, but I purchased this planning on new spark plug, now will order separately.

I read quite a few reviews where folk said that the throttle cable connection was different to the original. It is. However, it is easily rectified by unscrewing the spring loaded throttle from the new and old carbs and swapping them. That way, you can continue to use the throttle cable that has a "z" end to it. The other feature of this carb that I like is that it has a fuel/air mixture screw. My Ryobi now runs great once again. I have not tried the spark plug that came with the kit, nor have I used any of the included hoses/grommets that came in the kit. It was mainly the replacement carburettor that I was interested in.

A very easy swap, much faster and not much more expensive than doing a rebuild.

nothing in this box is compatible with the Ryobi C430, The seller addedC430 as one of the models these parts are for, that is a lie. the hoses are too short, spark plug is too big, The Primer bulbs arent even the correct size, the primer bulb CAN fit in places with a little work but the bottom of them is supposed to extend outwards so is can be secured with an air tight bracket, these are too small and with any amount of internal pressure would easily pop right off. will post video to show later today.

Tout a finalement fonctionner parfaitement . Comme les avis la bougie ne convient pas pour Ryobi s430 . J `ai du démonté la partie de la bulbe qui sert à l `amorce d `essence car si j `appuyait sur la bulbe , elle ne fonctionnait pas . ai simplement démonté la pièce et enlever et remit le petit caoutchouc en place , tout fonctionnait après ) et ai limer la fente pour laissé passer le bout du câble de commande des gaz , ensuite ajusté la vis du régime air/essence et le résultat est parfait , Bref avec tout les nouvelles pièces vous parviendrais à un bon résultat . N.B. J `ai visionner la video sur youtube avant de procéder .

This new carburetor worked perfectly, first pull she fired up. It was just the wrong spark plug for my particular Ryobi. X430

I received this carburetor for my Ryobi c430 whipper snipper and it doesn't fit my machine,Telling me that it is non returnable and can't figure how to get hold of this company,please advise

Carburator fit fine, but the spark plug wasn't the right one.

Ordered this part on the basis of the description which indicated it would fit my string trimmer. It did not and I can't return it. Nothing but a cash grab, beware!
