Fits well, some sharp edges.
Standard replacement fuel tank, it does not have any lining inside (though I do not expect to need it) and has some sharp edges, as one would expect.It fit like the factory unit and should meet anyone's replacement needs. Just wear gloves and / or be mindful of the edges.(Pro tip - do not run ethanol laced fuels in older cars, or you can expect to be doing a lot more repair and replacement work. Ethanol, even E-10, adsorbs moisture and introduces it to your fuel system. Additionally, it is more caustic than straight gasoline.)

!!!!!AVOID the Spectra brand like the plague!!!!!
The quality of this tank is worse than TRASH!!! The steel is extremely cheap and thin. The packaging was pathetic. There was literally zero padding protection. There were three openings in the tank which were not even capped {to protect dirt or debris from entering and collecting within}. The tank itself was not even shrink-wrapped in any type of way. The tank was literally bare-naked, and was just placed directly into the box with ZERO protection!!! As a result, the tank arrived damaged {with a very large dent} [see pics]. Also, the Spectra company has pathetic manufacturing standards. The tank was not even sealed properly. There was more than one section where the sealed edges were actually separating {see pics}!!! The Spectra manufacturer uses all kinds of fancy words to get you to believe they build top-quality tanks. But in reality, their tanks are built of cheap trash!!! I had a VERY lengthy discussion about this with one of the head people that work at the Spectra headquarters, whose name is Marc-André Fecteau, and he was a Supreme-JERK!!!!! He did not even care one slightest bit about any of the flaws that I brought to his attention!!! He pretty much said that was none of his business, and that I had to deal with it myself!!! Our conversation turned out to be VIOLENT!!! I saved ALL the email records for proof!!! The 'original' old tank that came with my 1978 car is of 500% higher quality than this new piece of trash!!! I will just hire a professional to cleanse the entire interior of my original tank to perfection.
