I am not one for reviews but i thought i had to give this a review as i have tried flea drops and powders and they are not very good. We have two cats and its very hard to rid the fleas but this collar has been on my one cat for less than a week and 99% of the scratching has stopped so i am about to purchase another one for my other cat. The collar smells like flowers and is very sturdy and strong. I thought my cat was going to be trying to pull it off but not once has he tried. These collars may seem expensive but you get what you pay for and they work well. Best of all they last 8 months so less stress to your animal as my cats hate the drops and powder so this is the next best thing and in my opinion works better than anything i have used so the price is well worth it....... I purchased a second one and put it on my second cat with no issues at all (just remember these collars do not kill fleas it just repels them so always flea the carpets, rugs and curtains) We had a real issue with fleas as it's always harder to rid them the more cats you have. These collars are my best buy in a long time and my cats are not scratching or biting or getting stressed either. For anyone who has a flea problem with their pets you must buy these collars and it will be bye bye flea drops and hello peace. Well worth the price as drops cost around £20 and do not work but this collar does work and very well indeed. I would pay double the price if i had to.

Loved the ease at which you can put the coller on and it’s easy to cut to size. I have tryed various products on my cat for fleas, Toldi flea and tick coller was the only product that worked! I would highly recommend it is easy to use and easy to put on your cat. It also lasts for a long time 6/8 months in fact.

These have been on my cats for a week and have made no difference at all, they still have fleas. Expensive purchase wasted

Overall not too bad; it didn't seem to impact fleas much, but neither did anything I bought in a particularly nasty summer infection; I've read up that fleas are actually becoming resistant to a lot of off-the-shelf solutions.I'd say it's a little chunky for smaller cats like mine, but he doesn't care! Packaging was a bit heavy on plastic which was a shame to see. But it came in a small tin too, which ise useful for keeping a few bits in; and also came with a free grooming glove which the cat seems to enjoy!Just the one star removed for both the use of plastic in packaging, and partially the ineffectiveness against fleas, though I still wholly believe it is not entirely the fault of the product. (Really, everyone having problems with fleas should look up how they're becoming resistant to pest products).

Keep using this brand for a while now and it got the issues sorted. First cat suffered from fleas a lot, kept scratching affecting parts but since getting this collar and keep changing it - had no issues. Happy with the product!

Later edit: I was contacted by their customer services team who have graciously refunded me, and said they will work to improve the product. If the breakaway issue is fixed, then I do believe it's a very good flea repellent collar, and would deserve 5 stars.Original review: In all fairness, it is an effective flea repellant. I was originally really happy as it has natural oils however it has no emergency break off mechanism. I had read the questions on the product, and there is one that says it breaks away, but the response was only applicable for dogs. After realising this and contacting the seller via Facebook, i was assured it was not a problem. However, after about two weeks of wear, i got woken up by my cat at 3am in severe distress as it had the collar stuck in it's mouth and on a lower canine.I simply don't understand why they can't feature an emergency breaking point like other collars on the market, as it's a really good product otherwise. But bottom line, it's dangerous.

We have two short haired house cats and a house rabbit. Our flees entered the house by hitchhiking on a visitor.These collars are good. We chose purple to match their eyes.They smell lovely and since we started using them our cats fur has been flee/egg free. We also used flee drops and pills and treated the entire house. Since our cats don’t go outside the collars have stayed on. They haven’t had any adverse reactions to these and since they are lavender scented our cats smell nice.
