Great stand for a great price
Key points:• I bought this for $23 for “Cyber Monday” 2024.• I’m using the tablet holder with an iPad Air 2.• I’m using the phone holder underneath with a battery pack.• The iPad will stay permanently in the holder• The battery pack will stay semi-permanently in the phone holder, perhaps removed occasionally to charge.• The full stand/unit will be picked up and moved around the house as needed.I’ll try to address some other reviewer’s concerns that piqued my interest while I was doing research.• Many reviews state that the stand is unstable:I personally didn’t find this to be the case. I followed the instructions and pointed one leg in the direction of my iPad screen The other two legs should be pointed towards the rear of your tablet screen, split like a “Y”. I used the phone holder with a heavy brick-like battery pack and I faced it to the rear of my tablet screen to act as a counter weight. Without the heavy battery pack I’m using, I still feel this stand has reasonable stability for its design and price point.• Some reviews mentioned the plastic on the pole adjustment and tablet mount broke:I can’t fully speak to the durability long term, but it appears to be well made and I didn’t get the feeling that it was cheap or easily breakable. I will update my review after 1 year to report on how it’s held up. Please keep in mind my earlier key point that I won’t be opening and closing the holders often, so your use case may have a different outcome.Final thoughts:I would recommend this product for the price I paid. It feels like a fair cost for the material and design. I like that it came with a shoulder carrying case to use for travel. My iPad fits well and the tablet and phone holder both feel secure. The gooseneck feels strong and my iPad doesn’t flop over while in use. Overall this seems to be a well made stand that offers a wide range of adjustable movement.

FUNCTIONS AS EXPECTED
This product did not disappoint. The height, the quality and the sines of it was perfect for my needs, so it functions nicely. I like the versatility in height, which allows me to adjust it as needed. I use it for a tablet mini, and I have not had problems with its grip. I can’t see that it’s a little wobbly so you have to be careful with the sturdiness of it and make sure your weight is balanced. Other than that is so great product. Happy customer!

Not super stable with a tablet
It gets the job done. I have a 10in ipad pro i stick in there once and awhile and the moveable upper portion tends to droop a bit under the weight.

Great as a gift.
Purchased as a gift. Very functional and space saving. Seems very stable and the height adjustment is very nice. Stable on tables or the floor as is.

Awesome!!!
Hands down one of the best products I’ve purchased. I used this for playing click tracks during service. You can also place a power pack or cellphone on the grip below it. Just make sure you position the iPad correctly with one leg facing the same direction as the iPad to keep it from tipping over. The neck is surprisingly super strong and flexible. The only small drawback is the extra small carrying case, it’s virtually impossible to close with all the parts in there (the bag actually came open). It’s a minor flaw to overlook though.

Broke in under 7 months
I will edit this when I'm back home to take a picture of the broken section.I had the previous incarnation of this tripod, and loved it. It was perfect for what I needed, durable, and sturdy. When I needed a second tripod, I purchased the new version, not noticing it had been "upgraded" with a new method of handling the device grip's angle (instead of a ball joint, it's hinged now).Whatever material or manufacturing process they used is MASSIVELY flawed. I rarely adjust the angle of the tablet I keep on the tripod. Mostly I adjust height and the goose neck. I think I've adjusted the angle less than a dozen times in the seven months I was able to use use the tripod before it broke. And of course, the last time I adjusted the angle, putting almost no pressure on the tablet to tilt it a few degrees further (in no way anywhere near the extent of the angle the hinge should have been able to handle--the tablet was at about 45 degrees and I tried to move it a few degrees to reduce light glare), the entire piece snapped off.The stress lines on the section that snapped off are in THREE SEPARATE PLACES, equidistant around the spot the device gripper connects to the tripod stand. Each one follows the same curvature pattern.I will be looking elsewhere for a replacement tripod. If this had happened in the first month of owning the tripod, I wouldn't be nearly as upset because of the ability to receive a refund. Instead, because it's past seven months at this point, I'm out the $30ish I spent. Extremely angry and disappointed.

So convenient
Works great, comes with a carrying bag. Totally worth the price. Cell phone holder isn’t fixed, it goes as high as the right below thegooseneck or as low as the rod will allow. The joints that control the height aren’t the best quality but should last a while is used delicately. It is a little difficult to open the tablet edges and slip the tablet in but it’s doable. It’s stable enough but a little wobbly.
